It's really helping define a new way forward for fantasy survival crafting.

No keybinds, I don't even care about rebinding right away but there was no controls so it was just a guessing game.

The AI was terrible and the fact you can just get hit instantly from something and not get away just ruined it.

No ammo on guns so I had no idea it had ammo so the shotgun was a waste of 5k

Just pure fun, I enjoy the twist of upgrades, that really makes this game for me. Played with 3 friends and I can see if we had a full lobby it would be insane.


Future Asks:
I hope to see more cards in the future and maybe some UI that lets me view them and what they impact in the main menu. A few of the projectile ones seem to only apply to certain items vs all projectile items.

Was fun coop, enjoyed the idea and excited to see what else the future holds for it.

10/10 threw my friends dead corpse into a hole so they'd stop setting me on fire.

Fun classic turn based game. Has some decisions that I don't fully agree with (think some of the other reviews mention that the "trash mob" fights take longer than you'd assume and I agree they do sometimes drag on). I am happy to feel the need for the day system, but not be punished by it.
First part of the story does feel slightly rushed, but after that first little bit it falls into a decent flow.
Graphics are great, kids have fun witty banter. Designs of the mobs/demons are great to look at.

I don't mind the game at all. Little grindy and of course some things I would want before it really wows me, but I am enjoying the core loops.

**Edit - I am updating to Yes as I know one of my biggest complaints has been patched. I haven't yet gone in and retried it yet but I want to value the switch to putting this mode in now. I will be getting back into this game eventually and will give a better review.

What I cannot stand by is the server issue. I am generally ok with online games, it has pros and I understand decisions to do it this way. But when playing as a solo player, and with no theory of being an MMO and running into people, I should not be thrown issues that you would see with massive MMO releases of server disconnects everytime I hit a loading screen or randomly walking around.

The big killing moment for me was the inactivity disconnect. I am playing alone, in my own game, I should never be disconnected for inactivity. That is purely not acceptable and I don't even get disconnected from big MMO's I play for being AFK for an hour.

Hoping they clean up these server issues and just don't toss them all into their offline features. Or they allow that if you're online and the server disconnects it moves you to offline seamlessly with the ability to go back online, that would be a cleaner path than having them separate.

The core gameplay is fun, and I was having a blast right away. I am happy to change this review as dev's have now been engaging with the community on bugs/issues. I am hoping they can solve some of the startup issues as I look forward to playing this game with friends more.

Servers still not fully up but able to at least play without constant issue.

overall game is fun. Too early to say if the loop will stay interesting but for someone looking for a slight twist on the looter/shooter I think this is worth a try.
