Sleeping Dogs is an open world action adventure game set in Hong Kong. You play as Wei Shen, an undercover cop with ties to the triads. Throughout the game you work your way up, gaining the trust of the triads while trying to help the HK police take them down. Similar to the Grand Theft Auto franchise with open world gameplay, side missions and activities this game takes a slightly different approach with on one-on-one combat as a main weapon with guns as a second. The city of Hong Kong is beautiful and filled with so much detail and is in my opinion one of the best looking cities I've seen in an open world action game. This game is full of content and plays out like a good action movie. As I got further into the story I found myself getting more and more addicted to the story line wanting to know how it would play out for Wei. I cannot reccommend this game enough for anyone who is into open world action games or even just action kung-fu movies! This game is definitely worth the full retail value and on sale it is a steal. I'm 20+ hours and still have lots of side missions and activities to complete.
