it's still chivalry, it's a pretty good time. game stutters irregularly on my computer sometimes, despite having a pretty decent build. not sure if it's just me.

A momentous experience, front to back. There's a reason basically everyone on here has at least heard of this game.

Gorky 17 is a kickass turn-based strategy game that deserved a lot more attention than it originally received, and now that it's on steam, it's clear why it's been re-distributed. Simple controls, eerie music, oldschool FMV, what's not to love?

Actually a pretty fun puzzle platformer. The graphics are a little wonky but if you treat them as old looking it's pretty regular. Soundtrack is nice too.
Game is super cheap, just buy it. It's pretty good, especially for the price.

My father smoked for all of his life, and when he was 50 years old he was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 lung cancer. My father told me "never ever smoke it is the worst ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ experience you can have, and I would still be around without it.", and I understood why. The hatred I had for cigarettes were some of the worst I've ever had.
But I guess it doesn't matter though, as this game gave me cancer anyways.

There are a few things I usually would contest a game on in a review, but with a game like this I suppose I'd do it a bit differently. With a regular game I'd give a rating on it's story/gameplay/sound/voiceacting/art direction but Super Meat Boy only has 3 of those things, and so with that, here we go. I'm not going to review the story of the game because the story isn't really there.

The Gameplay of Super Meat Boy is interesting, to say the least. None of the levels are cheap enough to warrant that the game is impossible, but not many of them are easy enough to finish and say "that's it?". The gameplay is what you'd expect from a game like this, difficult, but fun nonetheless. Some will have more difficulty than others, and while I've finished playing this game on the Xbox 360, I haven't finished it with a keyboard. I will say this, although the game teases you for using a keyboard, I have not been having very many difficulties using one. You can unlock various characters by collecting 'Bandages' and by doing so will be able to play levels differently. I rate the gameplay of this game a 9/10, very good for an 'indie' game.

The music in super meat boy is catchy, albeit a little annoying, the sound quality is decent and it ties in a lot with the variation of levels. Some levels will be more difficult and the music will show that to be true. The music is about what you'd expect from a 2D sidescroller, you'll find it charming, and the game will show for that. 7/10

The Art Direction for this game is quite nice, I found it very nice and it ties in very well with the level design and whatnot. It gives you a cute vibe, which is especially strange considering you want to tie a noose around your neck every few levels. Super meat boy is an adorable game, and I find it very fitting for some reason. 8/10

I really enjoyed this game, and for what it's worth, I find that the games content is enough to keep anyone happy for a good few hours. Great work, developers. 8/10
