As a veteran of Battle Royales all the way back to the Arma Days, this one has become my absolute favorite thus far.

It has everything you would want from a BR, great gunplay, heart pounding moments, high skill ceiling, incredible mobility, oozing with style, and a ton of cosmetics.

It's an early access game, and it's not without its quirks, but for me, non of them are game breaking. THis is one of the most polished early access titles I've played, and boy I've played a lot of them. There's a large upside for Bloodhunt, so don't hesitate to give it a try or check back in on it down the road once lots of updates hit.

One thing I would like to see is the monetization structure be reworked. The cosmetics are beautiful and stylish, but the pricing is outrageous. They need to make money somehow, and I'm happy to give them my money for their hard work, but I feel it's a bit unfair at the moment. Namely, $20 outfits are just ridiculous. Especially, when they only work on one class and gender. In addition, they sell the exact same item, but as a different set of colors for another $20. A full premium game would be $60 and that's an insane chunk of what you would normally pay especially when you are planning to spend money in the future on future Battle Passes.

I would like to see them visit this and continue listening to feedback from the community. and I think they're doing an amazing job on that so far.

Don't sleep on this game. Give it the chance it deserves and tell your friends about it.

Islands of Number is a breath of fresh air! It's a fast paced Battle Royale with tons of potential! It's a game that rewards you for fast precise play rather than the slow and cover heavy play of PUBG, or the Turtling playtime of Fortnite. I'm not saying those are bad, but what I'm saying is; Islands of Nyne brings something fresh and different to the table and excels at it. It's now my BR of choice at the moment. Can't wait to see what the future holds.

It's rough around the edges, but that goes without saying for an early access game. With that said, it's easy to get past that as none of the rightness is game breaking. The very core of what the game is about works fantastic. The gunplay is excellent, the looting system is great and fresh, the personality of the game shines, and it has that "over more match" magic. This game has a bright future and you can be sure it'll look and feel fantastic if you've played their previous title. We're in for a treat.
