an amazing and unique multiplayer experience. Fun solo or with friends. High skill ceiling with a decent skill floor. It is not for the average weekend gamer but if you like a grind, lots of avenues for progression, and skill based combat; then you can't miss out on this one.

There was never any doubt that this would be a good game, but they have absolutely outdone themselves. The art, the music, the voice acting, all of it is done to perfection. The gameplay is tight and familiar all while breathing new life into the combat system. It builds effortlessly on everything Hades did right and delivers even more. I look forward to think about what future updates will bring. If you liked the first Hades you can't miss out on this experience. 10/10.

An absolute joy whether playing solo or with friends, casually or competitively, PVP or PVE; this game satisfies many cravings. Survival, building, crafting, and combat all interweave and come together to create a very satisfying gameplay loop. The progression is well paced and challenges present themselves gradually but readily. The combat is smooth and responsive, with an emphasis on skillshots, movement, and defensive ablities you can really feel yourself gradually mastering the system and improving in your engagements. PVE feels very well balanced, and while PVP will definitely have certain growing pains, it's in a great spot for such an early iteration of the game. Stunlock clearly has a passion and affinity for PVP combat and I have full faith they will continue to make changes in a positive direction. The vampire aesthetic and environment is very fun but I do feel like parts of the world are a bit underwhelming. Overall, a very fun experience that can be exciting at times, while also allowing for plenty of relaxing downtime and discovery. However, if you're a die hard fan of crafting/survival games but despise demanding combat then the game may become tiresome.
