Review
Ether Loop is similar in many ways to Binding of Isaac, or Enter the Gungeon: you navigate through the rooms of a floor, shooting different enemies and dodging their shots. At the end of the floor is a boss room, and after killing the boss you move on to the next floor. Also similarly, the floor layouts and the items in it are different for each run.

What is not so similar, is that I found the game relatively easy and beat it after 30 minutes of gameplay, on my 2nd run. Looking at the percentages for the achievements, it looks like I'm not the only one. Usually you see <10% of players beating games like these. In Ether Loop, 23% of players beat the final boss. Below are some of the reasons for why I think it is much easier than its counterparts:

- Most rooms don't close after you enter them. This gives you plenty of space to dodge projectiles and for
crowd management, as some enemies follow you if you go back to an empty room.
- Improvement/boost items are stackable (eg: you pick an item that increases the critical damage by 20%; if you find another one you can pick it up and get the same boost again). This makes sense but adds a lot to your character's power. In one of the runs I was killing every enemy with at most 3 shots (the gun fired 4 shots per second)

However, I was still finding new guns and item combinations in the following runs. From what I played, this and reducing your times to get a better place in the leaderboards are the only motivations to keep playing it.

The gameplay is fluid, the animation and graphics are good. Performance wise it's not as good: capped at 60fps with no video options, if you have a monitor with a high refresh rate you won't be able to take advantage of it.

TLDR
It's not a bad game, but before you buy consider that it's not hard and at the time of writingn there are no video settings, leaving you stuck on 60Hz.

Like you're on drugs, but even harder to dodge stuff coming towards you. Wow.

11/10 would get smashed again.

Clicking, leveling up heroes, collect gold, repeat endlessly... Clicker Heroes is an unbeatable, unloosable, dumb game, yet it hooks people in checking the game every 10 min to see how much gold they have. Don't download it.
