Many people who have written a review on this game complain about the hackers. to those people, just stick with the game, you'll gain a higher trust factor and then you'll rank out of the cheaters section. Very old and unique game, only game similar to it thats managed to compete with it is Valorant. Yes, the hit reg can be wonky sometimes but honestly, just get a better PC, it helps. If you cant, then just deal with it. It doesn't happen often and you usually get the trade off anyways. For those complaining about snipers being op, they're not op. 100%. They are the 2nd most skill based weapons (imo) and you should respect these guys. They're pros can can hit shots. instead of trying to bring them down, respect them. About the toxicity, thats mainly in low trust factor, so just rank out of it

Mainly, this game is a sort of game that has a HIGH skill ceiling, with basically infinite ways to win a round, win a game, get a ace, breach a site, retake, you name it. Best game for fps lovers out there. Just give the game a try, stick with it, and you'll see results VERY quickly.

Only problem i'd see here is finding out which role you are in a CS team. here's the basics:
If your a leader (or a person who likes making calls) than the role of an IGL is for you. IGL is mainly to group with someone and support the team with calls and information.

If you have fast reaction, can flick well, and like skill based weapons, than the class of a sniper is for you. Your goal is to mainly hold an open area (like middle on most maps). In the beginning of sniping, id suggest using an auto sniper (SCAR-20 AND G3SG) and then upgrading to the Scout (ssg 08) and the AWP.

If you like rushing than the role of (captain obvious) a rusher is for you. these guys, well, rush. the optimal choice for rushers are PDWs (SMGs), (Not the P90, P90 is only useful in the first 4 rounds) and the Rifle category.
(oh, btw, Valve has some good guns rated lower than they should, like the FAMAS, MAC-10, UMP, MP-9, and the MAG-7 and SAWED OFF)

The last role is support, they usually use guns from the heavy category (Negev, Mag-7/Sawed Off) and they full utility (Smokes, molotovs, and flashbangs). They smoke off entrances, throw molotovs in common positions, and flashbang the site before entry. They go with the rusher, providing support for any close range encounters.
