Yes, you can still buy a HDMI cable, but with the Steam Link you have a lot more option!

-Personalyzyse every button with a botton on a keyboar OR TO A XBOX controler e.t.c.
-Fast connection to your PC without a cable
DISLIKES:
-Because you don't need a cable you need 2 batterys (You can plug it in with a Android Phone But will not charge, you have to play with the cable plug in)
-The "A", "B", "X", "Y" buttons are to small and sometimes you don't know what button you pushed

Yes, I still recommend this conttroler, but not like games for: CS:GO!
That's it, I still love the controler!

Short Version: It is training for when u get hacked and u can upgrade things an will be more HAKCING tools
