Day 1 the game has a Duplicate Character in the SSR pool that is... the Main Character. Disgusting beyond all measure for a gacha game and I expected better from Gust. I'll still play it because I love Atelier, but I can't in good conscious give this anything other than a negative. Who thought that was a good idea? The horrible rates on characters that gives me PTSD of days prior to Genshin Impact's pity system becoming standard, why? It just isn't a good gacha game. Incredibly unfriendly to F2P with no guarantee of banner characters (Why are there FOUR SSRs on the first banner?). It looks like a fun, light Atelier game that I will enjoy but no longer spend any money on.

Do all four mission types and check a few planets. Sob as you realize you paid for an Early Access game that is more a demo. Realize that the Barter system is trash. Realize you aren't actually getting paid when you complete missions. Realize your egalitarian capitalism is meaningless because you can't even do capitalism properly with capital, only adhering to the MYTH that is BARTER.

I bought it for the price of a candy bar and 100% it. At the end of the day, I think a candy bar would have been preferable with the ending we got and the lack of map.

Meme game with writing that you would find on fanfiction.net or wattpad. It wasn't completely horrid but if I wanted to read what I wrote when I was fourteen I'd do it.

A great successor to Atelier Sophie 2 and brings all the production value and writing improvements from it forward. It ties the Ryza trilogy off with a neat bow, and addresses essentially every single thing you've been waiting for since game 1. If this is the future of Atelier, I'm all for it. The writing is finally hitting equal to the strides Ayesha made with writing for the Series but were completely forgotten about in the Mysterious Journey and Ryza 1/2 until Sophie 2.

Remember your promise.

Out of all the Ateliers I've played, easily the best. I'd say more, but go play it yourself.
Gust really outdid themselves.
