I'm leaving my old review in this re-edit, for posterity.

I hate that I have to do this, but there's no real choice anymore.
I stayed quiet during the past few controversies, thinking it wasn't a big deal. Really I think the issues are just compounding and never getting resolved in the first place, and I guess my bottled up contempt has reached a point too.

I'm not gonna go off on the controversies, it'd be a waste of my time honestly. At the very least, I can change my positive review to negative and show my support to the community.

I've sunk over 2500 hours in this game over 5 years, to say it hasn't influenced my life would be incorrect. It's what encouraged me to go from a potato to a above average computer, to play it at max settings and see this game in all its glory.

This is my most played game to date, with R6S being a far second at 800 hrs, this game has carried me through some dark times and is always there for when I needed it.

This game may be rushed or held back at points, but I can forgive it for that, overall it delivers nearly everything I'm looking for in a game and I would change only a very few things.

Bias may exist in some areas, but frankly, I see it as a necessary thing for the sake of balance.

10/10, would dedicate my life to this game again
