Foundation is such a refreshing take on city-building games, and I had a blast playing it. It’s not your typical grid-based builder—everything feels more natural and alive, which made me totally hooked.

What I Loved:

Organic City Growth: There’s no need to stick to a rigid grid system here. You just build and let things flow. Roads pop up wherever villagers walk, and your city ends up looking super unique every time.

Medieval Vibes: The graphics and music are spot-on. The whole medieval atmosphere feels cozy, and I often found myself just watching the villagers doing their thing.

Easy but Deep Management: Managing resources and production chains is easy to understand but has enough depth to keep it interesting. Figuring out how to balance food, wood, and trade is really satisfying.

Monument Customization: Building big monuments like churches and castles is awesome. You get to customize them, which gives your city a lot of personality.

What Could Be Better:

Weird AI Moments: Sometimes villagers take strange paths or get stuck, which can be annoying. But the devs seem to be working on this.

Performance Issues: When your city gets really big, the game can slow down. It’s not a dealbreaker, though, since updates are helping improve it.

Final Thoughts:
Foundation isn’t just about building a city—it’s about seeing it grow naturally and feeling proud of it. The devs are constantly updating the game, so it’s only getting better. If you love creative and chill strategy games, give this one a shot!

Love the game. Was in love since the first one. Didn't care about PSN that much, but glad you canceled that. You had my positive review for that, but for God's sake, fix all the stuff that is about matchmaking and connection. Host leaves the mission and all other divers automatically as well? Come on! Where is the reconnect option? I lost samples and other stuff too many times just before 40min mission ending! That throws couple of hours into the trash. It's just frustrating! This review will become positive again after "reconnect" fix

And also: please add Ukrainian

Why I'm Hooked on This Game - A Deep Dive

Graphics: The visuals of this game are simply enchanting. From the detailed character designs, gear, cinematics, to the animations of strikes and spells, it's a treat for the eyes. While it might not be the best-looking game ever, it undoubtedly stands out as the most beautiful CRPG currently.

The attention to detail in the environments is so compelling that I often stop mid-journey, zoom in, and just appreciate the scenic beauty around.

Spellbinding Magic: Finding the right words to express how astounding the magic in this game is, proves to be a challenge. From explosive fireballs, lightning, and rays of frost to more unusual charms, sleep spells, paralysis, and curses – it's incredibly satisfying. And some spells are downright amazing! Fancy a spell that turns an ally into a flying gas cloud? Or momentarily shifting to another dimension for invisibility and invulnerability?

Gameplay Variety: The ways to tackle challenges in this game are astonishingly diverse. Push enemies off cliffs, collapse heavy weights onto foes, use illusions to distract, or even jump (yes, in a CRPG!) to gain a tactical advantage. The number of creative solutions available is mind-blowing.

Unique Equipment: Tired of generic armor sets differentiated only by arbitrary "power" numbers? Here, nearly every piece of gear beyond the "standard" tier has unique effects. Think of a cloak that grants invisibility after a kill. The customization doesn't stop there; you can even change the color of your gear!

A Vast Sea of Content: There's a wealth of content to discover. From secret necromancer labs to underground towers filled with unique artifacts, every corner holds a surprise. I spent almost 25 hours just exploring the first act's surface, and that's not even a third of the game!

Beginner-Friendly: The game masterfully breaks down the DnD rules both textually and visually. It's so well-done that these rules seamlessly integrate into the gameplay, creating an engaging experience rather than an obstacle.

Conclusion: All these elements combined make Baldur's Gate 3 one of my all-time favorite games. Every moment spent in this game is pure joy, unmatched by any other game I've played. It truly feels like an epic adventure, bursting with remarkable discoveries and unique treasures.

This is the best example of developers to **** up and make a comeback. Today it's completely another game. Deep, visually pleasant, engaging and so much fun. Now I'm waiting for the BEYOND update to dive into the universe again.
