A shambolic betrayal of the series. Awful UX, stripped down features and a clearly misjudged pivot toward console-first gameplay.

Avoid.

Despite its excellent gunplay, this is a cramped carnage shooter designed to compete with COD. Not a worthy successor to the legendary Battlefield series.

Altough it's come a long way since its disastrous launch, it remains an unfinished game with bugs, performance issues and a deep lack of content compared to its predecessor. Not worth full price.

Installed, deleted, installed this game a few times since it came out. NEXT has nailed it... this game is amazing.

Absolutely beautiful experience.

A good tribute to the original. Heavy on gore, guns and destructible environment. Not as immersive as it could have been, guns and explosions in particular feel and sound a bit wimpy compared to their size / look.

Dont expect to think much while playing this...

Good map, excellent graphics, good range of customisable weapons.

Ruined by the same repetitive boring mechanics of old (find tower, take out tower, find camp, take out camp, repeat ad nauseum). There is little or no diversity between regions of the map, there is zero survival element, and all loot is simply displayed on the map. Hunting is fun for the first hour and then it's a pointless chore with little reward (it's easier to just run them over with jeeps if you need their hide).

I found myself not taking out bandit camps just so that I'd run into enemies.

The main story is entertaining but predictable and not very immersive. the main character is a wimp, and annoying when he speaks. big drawback.

tl;dr - pretty but boring.

first game that's truly made me laugh my ass off since Duke Nukem back in the 90s. Over the top fun... highly recommended!
