while this game is not like minecraft, I get the same things out of it I personally enjoy from minecraft. It differs by being more focused on base building while making exploration an eventual need that is rewarding when you get there, but that's generally the pace at which I wanted to play the other game.
With that comparison out of the way, its easy to lose hours in this game by wanting to do just one more thing...
I'm autistic also so if you wanna vibe just building for hours and hours and hours this game is for you.

There's many dogs and a couple really cool skeletons. You can go on a date with one of those skeletons. 10/10

For real though, even with this game getting hyped up a bit prior to me playing it, it failed to disappoint. I was honestly astounded with where this game went, how good it gets, and the quality of the writing. No game in recent years has made me feel so many strong emotions except for maybe Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. But even then, Undertale constantly made me laugh and feel for the characters I encountered, so much so that I'm scared to do a Genocide run because I don't want to kill my digital friends. Game of the year? Tough to say because Bloodborne and Fallout 4 are also in this years releases. But man is it a hell of a contender.

Get this game if you like:
Rad 8-bit graphics
Awesome chip tune music
All those cool games from the NES/SNES era
Good game design and fun as hell bossfights.

Don't get this game if:
You're a bad person with bad taste
You dislike fun

I seriously can't think of a single fault with this game. It's one of the most fun games I've played in a while. If you have any sort of affinity for old school games, you owe it to yourself to play Shovel Knight.

Dishonored is a fantastic game. Amazing world full of intetersting lore, great characters and is subtly stylized. The is primarily stealth-based, but it certainly supports different playstyles and routes for fullfilling your objectives. Main story isn't super lengthy, but I honestly prefer it that way. And the game has pretty high replayability as well.
