Being able to build basically anything I like and race it around is a dream come true. Grew up with the Lego Racers games and this is like a spiritual successor.
The gameplay is engaging and always challenging whether you're new or experienced.

The reviews complaining about money being hard to earn are inaccurate from my experience, I'm currently sitting on more money than I know what to do with. Just play the game more and you'll earn easily.

The recently-added online "Creators Hub" is great to get inspiration for new builds, or download things you'd want but don't have the bricks for yet. Also being able to unlock new bricks for free by following the instructions on unlocked cars is a cool thing.

The microtransactions are a downside and the ads for them are a little intrusive, but they're completely avoidable, and it's possible to unlock new bricks in plenty of other ways, so I'm very happy overall.

The ability to customise your mechs down to the finest detail really makes this game worth the money. For me the story isn't easy to engage with, due to some awkwardly written dialogue and overly verbose cutscenes, but in honesty it really doesn't matter. I just like seeing my cool mechs beat up aliens.

I started the program and connected with my 3DS passkey .. but now my username on the player has changed to "New9449KZ" and the songs I uploaded with my original username "ToaTom" got switched to that new account. Now my 3DS app won't let me log in as "New9449KZ", and the songs I had uploaded to Rytmik Cloud no longer appear under the Cloud/User browser tab.

I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favourite game on the Steam Store.
