The game is absolutely fantastic. The story builds up excellently, the vast majority of the characters are unique, charming, and lovable, and the gameplay settings adjust to any and all players' preferrability.

Sea of Stars also rewards exploration, so please, for the love of Luana and Solen, do all the side quests and collect all the rainbow conches. I'm not going to say why. I'm just going to say I'm glad my friend hounded me to go get them all.

My only criticism about the game lies with Valere and Zale's personality. While all the other relevant characters are, as I said before, unique, charming, and lovable, Valere and Zale kind of lack that level of uniqueness for me. From my understanding, I think the devs were going for a "player's perspective" sort of thing with them, which I'm completely on board with. I only think they could have done the same, but adding more of the great character building they show throughout the game to the two main characters.

So, to sum up, buy the game, enjoy the story, do the side quests, and GET THEM CONCHES.

Excellent sequel to the series. Tons of fun to play and new mechanics that only add onto the gameplay. Not the most exciting way of telling the story imo, but let's be real, you play this game to fight people, not because you expect an extremely moving story.

Fun community overall. Best when played with friends, but you can get a good kick out of it playing on your own and finding randos <3

Quite entertaining and the story is very promising. Honestly, the multiplayer gamemodes are a bit meh, but you can still have fun! Can't wait for the full game :)
