It’s getting better. Of course, FM26 is nowhere near where FM24 was, but it has the potential to surpass the game one day.

Overall, we currently have a Football Manager game that needs more polishing in the next few weeks. But after the news from SI that we’ll be getting a weekly update schedule, I’m feeling optimistic.

I think we’ll need to suffer just a bit longer compared to FM24, but it will be worth the wait. All those bug reports and all the feedback will help bring the game to the level we’re all waiting for.

At the moment, it’s a 5–6/10 Football Manager with 10/10 potential for the series. But compared to other games, I’d still say it’s a solid title. I won’t go back to FM24 and I can’t wait to get more quality-of-life updates and experience the whole development process.

And perhaps in about a year we’ll be glad that we had to suffer for a while, because it helped us get a better game in the end.

Ah yes – truly, you can sell me painted sh1t and I’ll still find the positive aspects in it. Sh1t is a great fertilizer – and so is FM26.
