As of now, I don't recommend this game.
- I only played a couple hours, but enough to know that it's a little underbaked at this point
- My wife played on steam deck, I played on the PC

Good
- It's gorgeous and cute
- Music and story setup were nice
- Early game reminds me of a blend of Stardew and MMOs

Bad
- We tried to start the game together, but it was riddled with a lot of issues
- The deck seems to struggle with the game at some points, with the audio getting distorted and the animations getting laggy
- On the PC, I was using the controller. The prompts that popped up sometimes did not contain valid icons where the buttons should have been. So I was confused what to press at certain times
- The friend system is trash. I could not add my wife as a friend, could only follow her. She added me as a friend instantly. Wtf is this?
- The early quest we tried to play involved finding Reth. Surprise, he's gone for half the day and just missing from the map.

Ultimately, the frustration piled up and we ditched the game. My wife and I were looking for a fun beginner friendly frustration free game to play together. We ended up spending most of it frustrated and troubleshooting. This is not it right now.

When it works, it's a lot of fun. But i think 33% of games that my friends and I play end up with horrible crashes or people not able to spawn back in or servers getting overloaded. So we gave up. YMMV.

The game is good up to about floor 30 or so, with plenty of build variety and interesting mechanics. beyond that, the numbers start scaling insanely and there's only 1 build that really works. It's like the developer didn't bother to continue fleshing out the game past that.

I would say it's a good couple of hours of fun, it is cheap so it's probably worth it. but it does not have good replay value atm.

I didn't personally like this game that much. Maybe because I tried to play it actively? It's not really an automation game, which is what i was looking for. It is much more an idler game. I have a lot of hours on this because I left it running overnight a few times, but in reality probably only played it for about 3 hours on and off.

I enjoyed the game initially but eventually (after I unlocked illustration) the gameplay grew a little stale. At this point, the majority of the gameplay is

1) choose your goals for the week on the map
2) figure out what topics you need
3) wait for the topics to roll in
4) some minor decisions around how the stories should develop
5) shape your paper depending on how the stories go
6) publish

The crucial part is that step 5 is the most interesting part of the whole game loop, but the stories that you get, while they are RNG and can be interesting, never really change up the gameplay too much. You just wait for the stories to roll in and put the paper together every week, and it's mostly the same decisions and stories every week as you optimize for just getting the tags you need. This got stale for me so I stopped playing. I did still enjoy the game for a bit (maybe 5 hours) but I would not recommend this game to others.

I didn't like the game towards the end. I didn't know how to get the last few talent points or how to push for the end. I just let the game run for a while and upgraded rockets and eventually got there, but it didn't feel rewarding.

Game is good, but pet update was bad. I'm still playing.

Long version: pet update is obviously p2w/ugly cash grab, but the game was single-player before (or coop multiplayer, depends how you see it) and it's still single-player. The gacha is a turn-off, but the game is still fun. I guess it's only not fun if you're trying to minmax the game and the dev has locked the best minmax mechanic behind a paywall.

Great game, captured my attention for hours. And it's open source, which is incredible. Looking forward to the updates
