Note that my recommendation is somewhat tenuous -- this game has a number of flaws. I'm going to assume you've played Borderlands 2 at least. If you haven't, go play that instead of this. This game feels in oh-so-many ways like a Borderlands 2 add-on that got inflated to a full game, but didn't quite hit the same levels of fit-and-finish that such a venture actually requires.

Stuff I liked:
Low Gravity -- The gravity mechanics and the ability to fart out extra oxygen to manuever in the air are actually really fun. It adds a much more vertical element to the game, and the ability to slam down onto your enemies is just fun.

Oxygen -- Maybe I wouldn't like it as much if I didn't have an Oz Kit (an oxygen-related accessory item) that healed me every time I picked up a canister of the gas, but I like it. I never find myself running low, and it's fun to shoot off enemies' oxygen masks.

The issues:
The World -- Map design is probably one of the biggest flaws -- in the wilderness of the moon Elpis, there are a lot of wide open spaces and alluring alcoves on the map that are completely empty. Just giant masses of flat, open area and places that look like they should be holding loot... but nothing. Not even ammo chests. It just seems like this needed a few extra passes to clutter the map a bit with a reason to have some of these open spaces. It's not like they occur in driveable areas either, they happen in areas that you're restricted to walking.

Shops -- Borderlands 2 was paced a lot better on the story missions that you'd likely bump into a shop before your inventory would fill (especially if you're an obsessive loot-grabber who doesn't discern until they make it to the Sell screen). That's not the case here, I find myself having to shed loot often unless I want to put up with the pain of backtracking.

Mission variety -- I can't place my finger out it, but it feels very different than BL/BL2, almost a lot more fetch-questy. I'm not sure, but it's not as fun as I found it before.

Loot -- I'm not finding a constant stream of upgrade-worthy loot. I'm still using an Oz Kit I found early on game and nothing comes close. I'm only finding a single new gun worth trying every 5-7 levels, it's just not as fun as the early gameplay in BL2.

Mostly the game is simply "more BL", but it doesn't have the polish that Borderlands 2 had.

So, there are a lot of reviews joking about this being a link to "RIP Trilogy". That's absolutely true, but since I was determined to have this game function, I downloaded the "RIP Trilogy" demo. After that, the game launched!

I figured since I got it running I would give it a fair chance, and so I started up the first act of the game. Only, the game decided it was the right time to change resolution, and the video did not play. I followed the tips and tricks about using the common Alt+Enter screenshot to drop the game from full resolution to watch the videos. Hurray, solved! I kept on, and completed the first area... then the game froze! Last straw, game!

From the bit I played, it was a pretty abtruse point-and-click adventure game. Not helping it was the art style -- there are ways to do a minimalist visual style well (see Killer Is Dead) and there's oversimplification that makes it uninteresting.
