Hi, my name is Vladimir Czerkowski. I am a time traveller from the 1940s Soviet Union. I deserted from military duty to find some mushrooms in the northern forests. But then suddenly, I fell into a wormhole. I travelled through infinite realities, where time and space was intangible.

After some time, I was done with all that cosmic crap and decided to get back. I found my old battle-scarred Kalashnikov and got sent back to Earth. But things seemed different. There was no USSR and the year was 2009. The communist utopia I once lived in, was gone.

I realized that some big things were going to happen. I must have been sent here to bring an uprising with new kamrats to join the battle against the wicked society which has developed. There was no alternative.

I grabbed my rifle and headed to war. And here we are, you and I. Standing on each side of the present battle.
