Genuinely love the mechanics of this game (especially with how you can break your fall with a roll to avoid fall damage), but I cannot in good faith recommend a game that uses AI deceptively. And although it doesn't affect me too much, the fact that they turned around betrayed promises made to players in the beginning regarding the portal and the EXP gain from it also puts a sour taste in my mouth. I will continue playing the game but I will not be purchasing anything until they can address and rectify these issues.

genuinely some of the most satisfying gunplay ever; hitting heads feels so crisp
a bit of a slog on the later half as you're grinding for certain things in the same few maps but the atmosphere of the game is superb
i've even felt super duper scared for certain portions of the game (especially certain challenges, if you know you know)
also your guns can overheat and jam! overall a lot of things that you'd only expect to see from experimental indie games like this
hope to see more from the devs :)

also i love the mechanic where you can manually rack your weapon's slide... very satisfying...

i thought this would be a fun cute racing experience but i'm left devastated and bedridden after my horsegirl loses her race

it is quite amazing how the devs have literally removed a majority of the game's history regarding tech and gameplay in a singular patch

only positive thing about Season 2's release is that it serves as the definitive Do-Not List for other fighting game developers

This game cannot be fully described with words. Everybody on the planet should play this game, I feel. It offers something more than meets the eye and a lot of self-reflection can be derived from it's... everything. I'll omit spoilers, and I hope if you're reading this you are going to play the game, and in the event that you're reading this and you already have played, I'm sure you understand what I mean.

it's really fun with friends but even when you're alone it's easy to sink a few hours each session
i also think Asher is really hot and gorgeous
