I honestly think this game is pretty meh, campaign is okay but it didn't really build off of what Modern Warfare 2019 started in a meaningful way. The content for this game is pretty blah, the maps are too big, open, and they use boring colors. ALL of the remastered maps that are in Modern Warfare III should've been in this game. This leads into multiplayer being pretty mediocre albeit occasionally fun, but there's a VERY CLEAR line between having fun because a game is good and having fun because a game is bad. Operators were a mistake, I have said a few times with friends that I thought the celebrity operators are funny, while I do think this they still shouldn't be in the game because they create an entirely different and unserious vibe in multiplayer in comparison to the "military vs. military" feel of older cods. Also, this probably makes me look like a boomer, but Jesus Christ I hate the movement in these new games. I already didn't like that you could fly across the map at mach 3 in the jetpack era games, but THIS somehow frustrates me more. I understand Call of Duty is made for teenagers, and not adults who play the game for 4 hours a week, but there was something so simple about the slower movement of the classic games. Call of Duty HQ is also extremely annoying, I already have Steam and Battlenet on my PC, I don't want there to be an extra launcher. It's even worse that Activision basically removed MWII from peoples libraries by doing so. Honestly, this game marked the start of the end of this franchise.

Call of Duty is dead and Bobby Kottick killed it, regardless of him stepping down after the Microsoft acquisition.

Modern Warfare II, merely, is enjoyable at times. HOWEVER, it is not worth the $70 asking price
