Awesome casual game, for that price it's a no brainer!

It's not endless

Get content manager (free is fine, paid is like $2 only) and all DLCs when in promo and enjoy the game!

This is a very specific type of game, so I can't say you will like it or not.

Have you heard about Second Life game? It's like The Sims but MMO.

Elite Dangerous is like your second life MMO space sim. There is no typical for games story line you go through, or quest paths like in MMO RPG. It's an open world, with a lore that you just land in.

It's like you wake up 1000 years later after being in coma and have to live a different life you used to have.

So what do you do there then as there is no main quest or story to follow you may ask.

You look what's possible to do, and try it. Earn some credits, get into another sector of income and try that one too. Fly, transport, fight, discover. Just live your digital second life there. Find a community that will make you feel like home there.

Just enjoy your time in the game.

The moment you will rush it, play for the goal, want to heavily grind, it will be the moment you will develop a burnout. Yup, like in real life - you can get burnout here.

So take it easy and enjoy the process! Don't rush for the rabbit.

PS: a good HOTAS and VR makes it a totaly different game - many times better.

Got it on the first days, it had some quirks, but it felt complette then and fully enjoyable.

Now I see there were some updates made since then, so it's probably even better!

It's a perfect title to make you replace your monitor and a controller.

There is more game in game as you play the game, when I was thinking it will start to get boring soon, it added something new and fresh!

I have tried it when it was released as a beta and I play it since then. Nothing special, just a typical game you spend 1000h in and still enjoy the next 1000h, and next, and next...
