This is an early access game......But HOLY SHHHEEEEEP!

This is miles ahead of other games in this genre, including those games from a certain developer who has had decades of experience already! (World, sim and errrr.....Train, though not in that order)

I am looking forward to the dev updates in this game as things are added and improvements are made,

If you want to play a sim that feels like you are towing tons of weight behind you, where picking the right locomotive for the job at hand makes all the difference and changes the dynamic on what you're hauling, with many management aspects to watch and observe in the mean time, than this is certainly for you!

This is an awesome game. Was you thinking of getting train sim world? DONT. Get this game instead. Realism is superb, map is plenty big enough and the freight variations are endless. Would seriously recomend to anyone who is a fan of the rails.

I would not recomend this game at the full price they are asking for. I had high expectations for it, having owned a couple of previous versions. Like trz 2004 and 2009. having played a significant number of hours on the 2009 version, I can safely say that T:ANE, has NOT greatly improved on the sim by much at all. Yes there are a few good changes, but on british rolling stock as an example, the cab designs are much the same and so are the sounds that are emited from the locomotive. Whilst editing my own route, I loaded in a couple of the british locos and was appauled by the lack of any effort that had been put into the models. Lazy, get one knocked up and thrown out of the door springs to mind.

For me im glad it went on sale. I spent 1.50 on a game that has had so much hype on the trailer that I figured I could loose a small amount. As for all the DLC content, Im not interested. I would not spend another penny on this game. The 4 main routes have about 3 to 4 scenarios each, with a few more that you have to pay for at 19 - 39 dollars each. Extortionate ripoff Id say. The C&O route is great. Infact I would go as far as saying that its fantistic looking. But I can see where the majority of the games budget has gone.

I dont recomend buying this game at all. Its clearly nothing special and to be honest, TSW by dovetail games would be the next best step forward from any other train sim.
