I’d give this game an A

What a fantastic experience! To start, ABZÛ is one of the best looking games i’ve played in my entire life. With every new area I couldn't help but sit back and say “♥♥♥♥ me this is gorgeous!” In the saturated areas of the game the art style gives off a very light, painterly feeling. It’s really quite unique. The color palette is vast and yet maintains a continuous feel throughout every area in the game. Color is one of the most important devices that this game uses to tell its story. There is also great contrast between light and dark which really draws you in. On that note, the game is surprisingly immersive. The complete removal of a HUD definitely adds to that fact. Your movement through this world feels like running your hand across silk. It’s amazingly smooth and incredibly polished. Every animation flows perfectly into the next. Boosting and then doing a backflip in the water feels very natural and fun. It’s almost addicting doing underwater somersaults because of the visual flow. The sound design and the music is the other piece of the puzzle here. Everything sounds as you would hope from a game like this. The ambient noise changes with every area and gives everything an individual feel. The music is delicate and beautiful yet can shift to pure energy at a moments notice. The story in ABZÛ is a subjective one. Take from it what you will but I feel the most likely explanation for this games events is that it’s a commentary on what humanity is doing to the oceans and how natural life needs to push back. This can be seen quite clearly through the whole game. The story is subtle and lets you decide the meanings of events. It even gets a little emotional at times. Definitely go buy this game. You will be wishing you’d played it sooner. Thank you Giant Squid!

I'd give this mod a B+

Criminally short but very enjoyable. If you want a quick trip back into the world of Half-Life 2 then look no further than Downfall. A couple of nice easter eggs scattered throughout the very professionally built map make this mod fit incredibly well within the lore of HL2. Everything feels polished and tested. A good experience over all.

I'd give this game a D

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is getting bad. I bought it when it was brand new and I loved it. I uninstalled because i'm sick of waiting for the game to be fixed. The cheaters are insane. Every new update that comes out is either a new broken map or more loot boxes and trash skins. PUBG corp only cares about money. They know that this game is getting bad and all they’re trying to do is suck the last few dollars out of everyone that plays it before they leave. This game is on a downhill suicide run straight to hell. Refund it if you can and just play Fortnite.

I'd give this game a C

I wish I could say that I enjoyed my time in this game but I really didn't. The story is flat and boring and the characters are dull at best. I don't think I can bring myself to finish the game, it's just wasted hard-drive space right now. I knew it wasn't going to be amazing when I bought it but I expected the gameplay to make up for the lack of narrative. Unfortunately it doesn't. There are some fun moments, especially when you're playing co-op but overall it's mundane. I wanted to like this game and I wanted to say that it wasn't a waste of $60 but I can't. If you are gonna buy it than wait for a sale, it's not worth full price.

I'd give this game an A+

There isn't enough time in the world to express all of my emotions about this game so i'm not even gonna try. If you've played it then you know it's good. If you haven't then consider it your top priority to do so. If you don't own any of the expansions then buy both of them right now; they are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. I will remember this game forever. Thank you CDPR!

I'd give this game a B

Fun as all hell! If you like Battlefield but want more realism then this is the game for you. The game looks pretty good for its age and the audio is awesome. Sometimes it feels like it's lacking content but other then that it's a must have. Don't go into this expecting Squad or Arma levels of realism but it's definitely more tactical than most shooters right now.

I’d give this game an A

I’ve been deep in Subnautica since its first couple of months as an alpha. I’ve seen nearly every update and retouch that’s been done and I’ve enjoyed it every step of the way. The amount of polish and care that has been put into the environment, flora, fauna, audio and story has blown me away. To see how far this game has come really gives me hope for new indie games and studios. It was a weird feeling building the rocket and launching off into space. Getting to see the credits at the end made me very nostalgic. I thought back to the first time I launched this game and dove from the escape pod into the water. The allure of the whole ocean beckoned me further from the safety of the shallows. I always felt that I never truly saw everything that this game had to offer. I always felt like I had left some place unexplored. This feeling is what makes Subnautica so unique. The game is such a stand out in an ocean of mundane survival games. I wish I could’ve first gotten into this game when it fully released. To experience everything for a first time and to see everything fully complete would be incredible. But I do really enjoy all the memories that this game has brought me. Thank you Unknown Worlds!
