voxel destruction + arena = good game

It's a good game with decent AI and mechanics. Big brownie points for offering demo. I recommend everyone remotely interested in arena games or voxel descruction to just try demo and see if it's to their liking.

Out of many other MMOs this one does not try to wring you dry down to the last dollar, while offeting a variety of content. The community is good, quality of life is decent. Give it a try and see if you like it.

The AI is either dumb or too overpowered, and the game hinges on interacting with it in various cases:
  • Combat (AI can be forgetful, or persistent, no in-between - it can chase you across half the map or stop around the corner, it's hard to really get a reading on it)
  • Hacking (triggering alarm with a hack makes a swarm of robots spawn and scan area for laptops - you have one as hacker - which would be fine if there were not so many of them)
  • Stealth - there's not much to say about it, in my opinion. if you make a noise, people will come investigate, but if you are in a box (as a thief) they won't pay attention to you as long as you don't move. Sounds really simplistic. "The AI isn't THAT dumb!"[streetsofrogue.fandom.com], as the developer says in the box's description, but it's really close.
etc. etc.

Even though the store page description says "you can play for 600 hours and not get bored!", I got bored within refund eligible time window, and I'm going to do just that. It's NOT a bad game, just not for me.

The AI is dumb and has less capabilities than you, for example:
  1. It can't run (you can)
  2. It doesn't throw items (you can)
The bad AI is being compensated with numbers - even though the AI is not bright, it's not easy to beat a level with 50-70 people.

Also, there are no mechanics one would expect from such a game, for example:
  1. Blood loss from cut artery
  2. Inability to fight due to pain shock (losing limb for instance)
In essense, it's quite boring. Quantity over quality. Clone drone in the danger zone has better AI.

The cringe in this game is unbearable. Story, dialogues, voices. Everything screams edgy 2000s shounen anime. Skipping dialogues may help but I'm refunding while I have the change. I'm not paying for cringe delivery to my face.

As to gameplay, it's ok but levels feel barren so to speak, it could do with more detailed levels. Also, there is no workshop, which would alleviate the pain from the cringe and convince me to not refund, alas there is no workshop.

One big plus I can name is good optimization, it works well without significant technical problems.

Cute but frustrating

This is a good platformer, but sometimes it makes my blood boil by how frustrating it can be. It requires good timing and some trial and error to even make it through levels once, let alone 100% everything.

As I keep redoing the same part of a level, the cheefrul music keeps playing and the environment keeps jiggling, as if to mock me and my 25 resets.

Also, I HATE baloons in this game.

This game's novelty feature (shrinking window) ends up as a hindrance.

In regular bullet hell games, all you need to do focus on damaging enemies and avoid their attacks. Here, there is ANOTHER problem that needs to be constantly taken care of - shrinking window. You need to expand it constantly, otherwise enemies, able to go beyond boundaries of the window, will corner you and make short work of you.
It's just too much trouble to be enjoyable.

Apart from that, it seems like a good game.

Game seems to be fun, but I got frustrated by the fake ads, got the remove ads DLC, quit the game to reload the game with the DLC to come back to having my progress lost. Even though it's 15-20 minutes of playtime, it is very annoying. Besides, I couldn't find a way to skip intro text. If there is no saving option, it's a hard "not recommend".

Better than Hiragana Battle. Here it's actually possible to play without cheating or grind. Combat is more forgiving, more quality of life features and better economy (because you're not forced to spend all you can on revives and healing). Voice acting and story is rather "undercooked" though.

Good way to recap what you already know and fill in the blanks, not so much to start learning from scratch, because the game does not provide associations (for example - カ (ka) - KAtana cutting paper, ア (a) - Axe) which does not make learning katakana easier. However, next game about kanji does provide associations.

If you like RPGs and want to learn Japanese - try it.
