10/10 - Joryu Yakuza approves

This game is easily the best battle-focused grand strategy game that I have played. Taking place from 1936 and onwards, this game will let you write your own history or experience the events of world war 2 with the historical AI. Since the game has no definite end date, you may also find yourself engaged in a third or even a fourth world war. This is part of what makes this game so good - every game will be different and depending on which country you choose to play as, you will have vastly different experiences.

Like many other grand strategy-games, you will find yourself having to manage your resources and build up your state while maintaining political relations with other countries. Unlike other grand strategy games though, this game puts a bigger emphasis on the battles that you fight with other nations. You will get to design your own divisions with a good selection of weapons, tanks, vehicles, specialists and a huge variety of different support equipment. After deploying these divisions, you will be able to assign them to an army and either control them yourself or give them various orders. With possibly hundreds of divisions and the power of politics, you will be able to solve problems thrown at you in any way that you'd like, from peaceful referrendums to civil wars and all-out world wars. Since there is no set goal to the game besides achievement-hunting, you will be able to set your own goals and play however you want.

I decided to include this paragraph simply because the modding support for this game is amazing. You will find everything from music packs and custom maps to custom models and even additions of completely new gameplay mechanics. When you feel like you have experienced everything that the base game has to offer, there is still much more to experience from the steam workshop.

This is where some of the more negative aspects of this game lies. The graphics are definitely okay, but the 3d models are for the most part of quite low quality. Without the addition of DLC, the tank and plane models are very generic and it is impossible to differentiate certain tanks from each other since they share the same model.

The Audio is fine but it could definitely have been better. The sound effects are incredibly iconic but while some sound effects are really good, some are also quite bad. The soundtrack is really good, although a bit generic. After a while, you will definitely want to install some music packs from the steam workshop to add some variety.

Like many other Paradox titles, this game may seem daunting to get into. And while there is a lot to learn - especially for people who have no prior experience with grand strategy games, it is definitely possible to learn how to play this game. Essentially, it all comes down to what your mindset is. You do not need to learn every single mechanic in the game. Understanding the basics is enough to be able to enjoy the game, the more advanced aspects of the game will come naturally as you keep playing the game. This is a good youtube playlist to watch in order to learn the basics. With over 200 hours played, I learn new things every time I play the game, and the game is no less fun because I don't know everything.

This game is incredibly fun to play and although it has some flaws, it is hard to not recommend this game to anyone who enjoys strategy games. For people that do not generally enjoy strategy games, this game is most likely no exception due to the amount of things there are to learn. Unlike other paradox games, this game plays really well without any DLC, so I would highly recommend anyone interested in the game to try the base game and possibly buy the DLC at a later date.

Fighting mechanics are really good with 4 different styles to choose from. The overall gameplay is amazing with a good balance between an interesting story and fun side activities.

The graphics are not the best by today's standards, but they are definetely good enough.

The audio is pretty good, and I saw no problems with it. It feels good walking through the busy streets of kamurocho and hearing the sounds from the pachinko parlors and people talking.

This game is definetely for older teens/adults since it contains a lot of violence and sexual themes.

The Yakuza series is known for its good stories and while the story of kiwami isn't by any means the best in the series, it's still way better than most games.

The main game is definetely pretty easy and once you've gotten most of your upgrades, even the boss battles become a breeze. The reason I also chose to include "Not so easy" is because of a certain section that becomes quite hard when playing in legend mode, as well as the climax battles that can provide quite a challenge. Also, if you choose to complete the game 100% you will have to play and win at mahjong, which some people may consider hard.

There isn't really any grind, UNLESS you choose to complete the game 100%. Then it will definetely get a bit grindy in the late game.

This depends a lot on the player. According to howlongtobeat, the main story is about 20 hours. If you choose to try out some side content alongside the main story (which I definetely recommend), then the game will most likely last for at lest 40 hours. If you are like me and enjoy completing everything in these kinds of games, it could easily take 80-100 hours.

While the game may not be perfect, it's still an amazing game that I would strongly recommend. If you haven't already, then I would recommend trying out yakuza 0 first as it serves as a good introduction to the series.

Best tower defense game I've ever played. Easily worth the normal price and when it's on sale for 90% off, I see absolutely no reason to not pick this up. I have spent 100+ hours in this game (cross-platform) and I'm not planning to stop anytime soon.

Even though this game "reuses" the map of far cry 5, I really enjoyed this game. The world has a different feeling than it had in far cry 5 and in my opinion, revisiting all the places you remember from far cry 5 and seeing them in "post-apocalyptic form" is actually pretty cool. This is definetely a worthy sequel to far cry 5, a game I really enjoyed. If you've played Far cry 5, I'd totally recommend picking this game up since it gives the game a "better" ending than the one in far cry 5 (since this is pretty much a sequel) It's really interesting to see what happened to all the characters you know and love (or possibly hate) from Far Cry 5.

I think this game is pretty good if you know what to expect from it. I dont't see why people would expect a deep story or amazing missions. just cause is a game about sandbox and chaos and I think that this entry does that very well. You have plenty of tools to work with in a pretty damn big map and that's what this game is all about. Also, the work the developers have done post-launch to fix the errors the game had is something that few other developers actually do.

One of the best games I've ever played. Sure, some may say that it's got the usual ubisoft open-world feel, but imo the side missions were just as interesting as the main ones. This is the only ubisoft game I've ever completed 100%. During my (way too) long playthrough of this game, I've probably noticed a couple of bugs but none of them were game breaking and most of them weren't even that big, just my character getting stuck somewhere for a second.
