A love letter to classic 8 and 16-bit RPGs, Sea of Stars hits all the notes, and hits them well.

If you like Chrono Trigger, this is an homage to that and other classics.

Fun characters, interesting story and lore, engaging combat that never feels grindy, absolutely gorgeous pixel art and fantastic music, Sea of Stars was a joy to play.

The only downsides:

- a couple of the boss battles felt like a drawn-out war of attrition, but they were some of the final bosses, most felt reasonable in length.

- to fully complete the game, you need all 60 rainbow conches, I had to resort to a strategy guide to get them all.

A game of quiet exploration with Mobius-inspired visuals.
You are leaving the tribe, setting off into the desert environment on your speeder bike to find your way in the world.
The carefully-chosen shaders, color palettes, and lighting make it an extremely artistic and visually appealing game, and the chill soundtrack compliments it perfectly.
It's not a game for everyone, but if you want a game of beautiful quiet exploration, this is a great one. Picture something like Breath of the Wild without combat.

Good roguelike, has several classes, pets, unlocking upgrades for next play, etc.
Also has some fun humor. I've only been playing for a bit so I may hit the limit but right now the world feels pretty big.

My favorite is Dungeons of Dredmor, but this one is solid as well. I grew up playing Nethack, so these feel like part of that heritage.

A bit of a learning curve and slightly dodgy physics, but an unbeatable array of playable games in the workshop.

Immersive, pretty, and well written. Feels like a more authentic world then you find in most RPGs.

Early Access Review
A fun little dungeon romp!

Pros: Randomly generated dungeons, several weapons to choose from, things to unlock. A pretty impressive experience for the efforts of one person!

Cons: After 6 hours I feel like I've seen pretty much all the game has to show, have unlocked everything except the last couple classes which require a lot of grinding. Some things are not intuitive when you first start playing.
