Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, just like it's intro suggests is a "Blast to the past".
Vicarious Visions (now Activision) really did pull out all the stops for this remake.
The game feels as fun to play as the originals did almost thirty years ago.

The controls are responsive, and not a bit easier than the originals did on the PSone. The addition to be able to play as CoCo add a breath of novelty, but feels a little half baked. While you can play as her in most levels, Crash is swapped out for the boss levels as well as some non-traditional platforming levels (looking at you, hog wild). On top of that the 1up icons don't switch to CoCo when you play as her. A minor nitpick to be sure, but in a game that is otherwise very well made, you really can only pick on the small things.

The graphics are another thing entirely. It feels like Vicarious Visions managed to create what our nostalgia remembers. The levels are visually stunning and well optimized. Every Wumpa fruit, bloom effect, and even the enemies look like they're from a game that requires a much higher end graphics to pull off.
You can tell this game was a labor of love, and unlike other "HD Remakes", these games have great re-playability and charm.

Overall I give it 4 and a half Wumpa fruit out of 5.

I remember playing this game as a kid and I can't believe it's on steam! i love everything about this port and it's a wonderful throwback that dumps me back to the 90's

Addicting, frustrating, and amazingly retro.
VVVVVV is a wonderful throwback game with a wonderful story line. There is no defined "levels", it's an open world map.
The gameplay is fast paced and requires split second timing to get down. I've died thousands of times playing this, and I honestly have to say every one of those was worth it. The soundtrack is an amazing chiptune masterpiece. I rate this game very highly on my list.

Undertale is that kind of game that you have to replay to get the whole experience. Unfortunately replaying it forces you to kill everyone you know and love, which makes it really hard to go on with the rest of your day. This is totally okay though, because this game makes you feel bad for it every step of the way. 10/10, 12/10 with rice.

This game is absolutely timeless. Playing it in the year 2014 still feels like it could have been marketed and sold to the market today. The story line is very in depth, and the gameplay is fresh even in my fourth playthrough.
