anyways actual review: an incredibly well made game, bristling with love and care at nearly every corner. Arrowhead clearly loves their baby, and you can feel it with each and every part of the game. I just can't get enough of our Helldivers' screams of joy as they fire off an entire magazine, and their screams of terror as bugs tear them to shreds.

Oh, and the game's fun too. You really feel like an 18 year old given a gun and told to go play special forces. Enemies swarm down on you with the bugs, or advance on your position with malicious intelligence with bots. The two factions play so incredibly differently from eachother - I wouldn't exactly call it two separate games in one, but the difference in experience between the two makes for insane replayability if you ever get tired of one.

You're a walking armory, capable of calling down incredibly amounts of firepower from up above, or dispensing it yourself if you choose to bring down weapons instead. You're simultaneously a one-diver army, and an incredibly fragile human. An incredibly fragile human high on drugs, that is. Are we sure those stims aren't addictive?

Play with friends, and laugh as you land on eachother. Or cry as the trees start speaking binary. Either choice is valid.
