It's beta, but setting bugs aside, not enjoying it overall. I might not get to end game for now.
Rating some things 1 to 5 + (good) or - (bad)
IDK which of these will be changed in what ways in the future.
If they stay on some of these listed negatives, I'll stick to PoE 1 and recommend it. PoE 1 is overall way more fun and interesting.

+++ New Tree seems to depend less on health nodes
++ New Tree has adaptive stat highway nodes instead of fixed stat (you can choose Str, Dex, or Int)
--- New tree is somewhat painfully simple. Lots of node repetition and most nodes aren't very interesting.
+ New tree doesn't seem to need clusters.
++ Perm Summons have lower maintenance. Other classes have some QoL improvments
+++ No Portal Scrolls
-- Drop rates are extremely low. You might fall asleep playing this. (Vendors should help)
----- Ascendency is locked behind a harder, Sanctum mechanic, but it's even less fun than PoE1 and it's harder, longer, and way more bad RNG.
----- If you crash or disconnect during an Ascendency trial, you will lose the trial rather than resume where you left off. You'd think they'd fix this after PoE 1 and let the server hold your spot for you for a few minutes or something. They have PAUSING in PoE 2. Use it!
----- Ascendency is extremely difficult for many builds
-- Many skills and supports are much lesser versions of their PoE versions.
--- No movement skills (yet?)

It's challenging to progress, yet it's relaxing to play in general. Super fun.

Nice game if you don't mind seeing "Kicked by EAC" when starting multiplayer.

Pretty nice game whether you're hardcore or casual. The difficulty scaling is great. The experience is quite appropriate for a zombie-like scenario.

Pretty relaxing and nice

This game is in perpetual beta mode. There are bugs all over the Halo 2 and 4 that make them a plague to try playing in enhanced mode. If you're an avid Halo player, you can play this but expect beta quality. The bugs are here to stay based on history.

Totally chill, one-of-a-kind sort of game.

Final Fantasy X alone is enough reason to get this. I'm also in the group that loves FFX-2 but it's a different game from the first so expect entirely different things.

I've played this game far more than Steam realizes. Amazing, especially modded.
