This isn't nearly as bad as the initial reviews led on. If you love theme park builders of the old school variety (not the mobile stuff), you'll enjoy this. Yeah there are some imperfect path building "glitches" that you have to work around and some other strangeness, but it definitely has its own unique charms and appeal. So probably not the only theme park builder you should have but a MUST HAVE if you're a true tycoon who loves the theme park building sub genre.

For me, this is probably the greatest game of all time and this amazing classic version which adds play speed adjustment (a sorely missed feature in the original) is wonderful. The way I understand it, the game was written in assembler and the developers of this classic version went through trouble to add this feature and also update the user interface. This is greatly appreciated and well worth the small price of admission. It includes all of the original content from RCT1 and 2 and all of the expansions. Just wow. I would love for them to consider further excellent updates to this, the greatest game of all time, to me, (probably); namely:
a.) finer control over what objects are visible to aid the sometimes complex vertical construction of elements ranging from way underground all the way up to the sky and b.) a higher resolution "tracing", if you will, of all of the original graphics which would allow for even sharper visuals at all distances and maybe even some additional still closer distances.

But if nothing further is ever added, it's still a fantastically awesome game.
