Sony has Listened and reverted the change, so I have changed my review to a positive

I think its a very good base to expand on, some disagree with the warfare, I dont, I think it needs expanding but I like the approach. Its complex enough to feel like I would sink alot of hours into the game, flavour etc will come with time but I thoroughly enjoyed my time thus far.

Where to start with this.....

You shouldnt come here with the mindset that it is a finished product and that its a playable game. This is a Tech Demo, This is showing off all the features and what to expect, By purchasing this you WILL get the full game ! This tech demo has so much already in it, its a sandbox with everything being added weekly sometimes.
The simulation that you should expect is like nothing else. This is going to be the most indepth simulation of any Ubaot-sim/game previously made. They are remaining as historically accurate as possible. I have been interested in this project for a little while now, and I play alot of games. I have never ever seen developers as active as these guys, They are with the community ! instead of giving an update every several months as others do, they do a weekly update !

I know that alot of people want to know whats going on behind the scenes of games and whats being developed on. These developers release that info every week. You get an in-depth review of whats been worked on during the week and what is going to happen. The quality that they are achieving right now in the tech demo is insane, You can really get a grasp of how much detail and depth they are going into.

Some might say the price is high, to which I can agree on to some extent, however, you aren't just paying for the sim, you are paying to aid development and become involved in the process at a really really early stage. I would reccomend this to anyone interested in history, Naval, Simulation. I got into this simply because of the simulation side of it and how indepth it will be and already is ! As a result I am now hooked on the History aspect of it.

They have basic functionality for multiplayer, which is a very hard area of coding, showing their dedication and how they tackle situations. This will be the most enjoyable experience that you will be able to have playing a U-Boat sim.

There is so much more I can talk about in regards to whats already in place in the Museum (Multiplayer area in the demo where you can explore whats been added in already) I was given a tour by Marius (Dev) and I hadnt appreciated quite how much work has gone into the systems, everything works ! They have made so much progress. The texturing already looks good, subject to change ofc.

I urge you to give it a go, understand that you are investing in a long term development instead of a polished game right away. Appreciate what the vision is and how it can be achieved with your help.


There are so many starting points which I can talk about, but the main thing I will focus on here is the ambition of the developers.

For Someone who has never ever touched a drone, or done racing or freestyle flying, This is the perfect place to start, There is arcade mode to help with newer pilots, you can play on keyboard gamepad etc, The game is very good, I havent noticed any bugs, It takes a while to get into the flow of things but once you understand the controls and adapt, it becomes exceedingly enjoyable as you can see yourself improve and get faster times. I would reccomend giving this a go. If you dont enjoy it then refund it. Graphics are good, UI is easy to navigate, community is very helpful aswell

Where do I start.

This game fills that void for everyone. Want to play a game which involved team work ? Confined spaces ? Hardcore U-Boat gameplay ? Rewarding hunts ?

The answers to those questions and many more are in wolfpack. You can comfortably control the uboat solo now with the introduction of bots, have a few mates ? Crew up and go huntin together ! The Learning curve is steep, some maths and navigation skills are needed but can be learnt and picked up relatively quickly.

The rewarding feeling of getting a torp hit from a couple km away is insane, you get a reall buzz especially when you sink a few ships and quietly leave without being detected. Its a fantastic community game with many people out there willing to help out with all aspects if you get stuck.
The devs are close with the community and shoving out good updates !

Definately worth your time and money, I would purchase it and see if you enjoy it ?

Tacview is by far at excellent purchase if you are an aviation enthusiast and want to analyse and improve your skills. I have put this into excellent use in DCS and CMO. Very clever tool and although it has a steep price, well worth it, save up your money and purchase tacview, you wont regret it
