This game is so addictive. The writing is great, the gameplay loop is satisfying, and there's seemingly endless things to do. Just when I think there can't possibly be anything else for me to do, I unlock some new game mode or game mechanic that I didn't know existed. It's a great game, worth every penny and every hour spent playing it.

I've been playing this game since the very early closed alpha tests, and watching it develop has been extremely fun. It is most definitely in beta, and everyone should keep that in mind when downloading! It is by no means finished and only opened testing up to the public last Summer, and the devs currently push out a major update about every month or so. Yes, it is buggy at times. No, it isn't perfect. But I've sunk hundreds of hours into the game and I keep finding more stuff to do! I love the NPCs (Einar, my beloved...), I love the lore, I love the music, I love the dialogue, and I'm super excited to see how it continues to grow, change, and improve!

If you enjoyed My Time At Portia, you'll definitely love this game. The lore of the two games connects beautifully, with this game expanding on the world that the first game introduced us to. I wouldn't say that playing My Time At Portia is a requirement to enjoy this game, either. While it's set in the same world and there are little nods and references to the original game, Sandrock's story is totally unique.

If you're worried about how much content there might be in the game currently, given that it's early access: I'm almost 100 hours into this game and I still haven't reached the end of the current game content. I have no idea how much more content is going to be added, but given their roadmap I expect there's still a LOT that's going to go into it before the final product. I think it's absolutely worth the price you pay, even for an early access game! It's really addicting, relaxing, and I've been having a ton of fun with it. 10/10

Overall a fun game. My only nitpicky complaint would be I wish there was a way to speed up the battles or animations or something, because eventually needing to wait for every single dice roll animation to play out gets pretty repetitive. Not a big deal though, still had a ton of fun and would recommend it.

Such a unique, charming, and FUN game. Loved the story, loved the music, loved the gameplay, and will probably play it over and over again to get all the endings, secrets, and achievements. 10/10
