Do you like to travel? Well don't worry about spending money on an international plane ticket, let alone a hotel... what a pain! instead travel with one of the world's best travel partners: Agent 47, you'll travel the world, wear the best clothes, and meet (and perhaps... unalive) some interesting and deserving people. Don't wait, sign up today! Also don't worry, Agent 47 will pick up the bill with one of his 3 coins of money.

Hey just leaving an alternative review. I bought this because it was Overwhelmingly Positive, and the first review I read had the reviewer's head spinning after staying up late. I just finished Chapter 1 and I found the story plodding, remarkably like the high school interactions in Twilight or Black Sun. I did not enjoy it at all. Overly dramatic and maybe it's cultural but I didn't get it. The very first scene was good though. I hope I can get a refund. If you like Vonnegut or Steinbeck etc. you will not like this at all.

I played just over two hours before requesting a refund. Leaving a review because I love crafting and base building and thought the "overwhelmingly positive" would be a no-brainier. I'm a big fan of Factorio, Satisfactory, Subnautica, Rimworld, Stationeers, etc ... Planet Crafter is not those games.

The premise is that you're building terraforming machines to increase pressure, O2, and temperature. As each of these properties hits a threshold, you get some unlocked blueprints for better machines, larger backpack etc. Note that it does not seem to matter *where* you place any of these machines so if you like figuring out optimal spatial placements for power distribution or resources, this is not that, instead you find yourself spamming machines just to get them down to make your number go up faster. Doesn't matter where you put down power either, it just is distributed planet-wide. These values all seem to go up and the more machines you have the faster they go up so you can unlock the next level. It feels a little mobile idle-gamey.

The systems are simplistic, there's "power", a food bar, O2 bar, and water bar. These getting low? Open up your inventory and right click on the food/o2/water inventory resource to push it back up again. Power low, build another wind-turbine. There's otherwise no logistics, no automation, and no spatial layout strategy. Not for me and I'm worried I just didn't play long enough because I don't see how I would ever get to "overwhelmingly positive".

This game is SLOW. I have it constantly on the fastest speed and I wait for my employees to pick up the huge amounts of trash that pile up in my settlement. I wish I hadn't played it for so long so I could get a refund.

Just finished reading Ringworld and want to play as the Ringworld engineers while fighting the Borg and the Stranger from a Strange Land cult but then git it all mixed up when the ancient races from Babylon 5 wake up and start to fight each other? And you want it to take as long as watching all 5 seasons of Babylon 5? This is your game.

I bought this game because the reviews were "Overwhelmingly Positive" so that's why I'm leaving this negative review in case you think you should buy it too. The art is cute but not deep, the interactions with characters are simple like in a Zelda game and are either not interesting ("I'm a grumpy old man!") or involve oblique references to how you should shape the map: "she lives in the middle of the big forest!" is a really subtle hint that you need to make your map have a big forest in it. The gameplay isn't hard and for the little I played I grew to despise solving the map puzzle because it meant I had to talk to another character and solve another map puzzle after that.
