The 8th installment in the legendary Tomb Raider saga. As usual the graphics are an impressive upgrade over past games in the series with really nicely detailed jungles, undersea and cavern environments. Very nice.

On the control side it's even better. Lara can now sprint and balance herself on beams. The amount of movement is really fantastic and the animations are fairly fluid and easy to pull off. If there's anything bad to say it's that her adrenaline dodge move from Anniversary is missing which is a little disappointing. Supposedly some players couldn't get the hang of it. Boo.

Overall Underworld is a great game but somehow isn't quite as satisfying as Legend or Anniversary. There's not as many secrets, the lack of epic boss fights is disappointing and like the previous Tomb Raider games it's on the short side. That being said this is still an excellent and gorgeous looking adventure with a decent story and really well done action sequences. A very worthy entry in the series.
