lads, il be the first one to say this game is currently scuffed as all ♥♥♥♥. Apparently there was a closed beta, i can only imagine how scuffed that was. Go into this with the mindset of a contributor/tester. note down bugs, give good feedback on their discord ect. and help this game become the absolute gold it has the potential to be once polished. There is ALOT of polish to do but that was entirely expected tbh. THAT SAID, you can already have mad fun in this, the art style, visuals, environments (when they arent melting your computer) are amazing. Already been having alot of fun despite everything. Huge potential and a lot of fun to be had already. I look forward to see it polished, and then ofc more content.

gameplay is incredible. it is how i remembered fear 1 to be as a kid. johnwick x doom x fear in the best way imaginable. My only complaint is that I wish there was more story. what is there is top notch and very good. hopefully the dlc will push it further. cant say enough good about this little game. punches well above its weight

first i thought it was just a bit of a meme. then I realised its a really fun game, well made and has alot of content despite its infancy. THEN I realised it was making the woke libtards in america triggered over pals having biologically genders ect. and it really warmed my cold heart. At that point I really knew I made the right choice in buying this. This is not just a game, supporting no nonsense devs such as this who dont pander to the mentally challenged minority is an investment in a better society. Overall just a good game, no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. you will get 10s or even 100s of hours from this absolute magnum opus of game development EDIT: I will never buy a nintendo product ever again, and will relentlessly pirate all of their ♥♥♥♥ till the end of days if they persist with their legal case :D the money I will save, I will purchase future games from you guys.

PROS:
Unique atmosphere and setting the likes of which you may not have seen
(provided you got the hardware) Amazing graphics with fantastic animations, The agricultural death orb was absolutely beautiful when you weren't getting crushed by it.
Amazing sound track (I found my self purposefully triggering enemies in some areas to listen to "summer" remix used for battle music)
Simple yet engaging story which mended really well with gameplay and objectives (many good vibes from games like Prey and Bioshock yet refreshingly different)
What some may call a rogue-like combat system (maybe im just a ♥♥♥♥♥, but some bosses and areas were genuinely challenging especially when low on supplies)
CONS:
I do wish there was more story driven side content (there is alot of great side content such as the polygons) but they are more like a dungeon you loot for upgrades. Each one with unique combination of puzzles and very fun and rewarding to make your way through. But not a lot of it does much for the story/lore of it all. Basically would have been cool to deal with more characters, see more cutscenes and develop the story more outside of the main objectives.

Did run into occasional spots where I got stuck on the environment, nothing major. Last few years of releases have seriously lowered my expectations in terms of day 1 quality. So overall state of the game should actually be a PRO if we are comparing it with alot of other AAA releases ;DDD.
Had a crash that kept triggering in a specific area of game, but im leaning towards it being a weird amd 7000 series gpu driver issue.

CONCLUSION:
Overall, if you like single player action rpg games, like Prey. Highly recommend.
Cant wait for the collective 2.0 to roll out irl, seems liker a great idea ngl.

this game is poo

there were times where i legit teared up playing this game. Namely the parts where they show the perseverance of the characters to stay positive and try to live and love in a destroyed and desolate world. Everything else is pretty great, its somewhat linear but that doesn't distract from the experience, still plenty of freedom to explore and discover though.

main menu is frozen on linux. Been ages. Devs not addressing it seemingly despite touting official support. good game, use to be one of my favorites before it stopped working ofc.
