Here to rep them to help reverse the recent debacle. I refuse to let one of the few new releases that is generally super pro-consumer stay punished. Quality game, quality team, and perhaps to me the first example of the kind of positive experience only a live-service title can provide. The endless litany of live service games should take notes.

Uniquely brilliant, sticks with me still. I have bought it for multiple friends for entirely selfish reasons - because this game cannot be replayed, so you can only live vicariously through your friends.

Splendid brain teaser, worth your time. I wish the organisation of information was a bit better but the actual puzzles are splendid. The art style is quite possibly the ugliest I've ever seen, but it's done with such obvious intent that it sort of wraps back around to charming. If you're a fan of "figure out the context" puzzles like Obra Dinn, this is well worth your time.

The core gameplay loop of this game is fantastic. I'd say roughly the money you're spending is just about worth it.

But there's just so many awful precedents that are set by supporting this. I absolutely will not be spending any more money on this until they are fixed. I was holding off on leaving a review as I truly wanted to love this game, I spent two hours writing feedback for it. I still love it and will play it.

But come on. So many features missing and the ones that are in are dreadful and tedious. We finally get promised a content update, promising four substantial things: 1 new map, 2 new conditions, two weapons that were meant to be in the game at launch, and the second of four parts of the crafting system that should have been in at launch.

The latter two at least did come in, theoretically, although the weapons obviously have to be found in the store so it's back to rolling the dice in front of the shop.

The two conditions turned to one condition, with the missing one removed retroactively from posts with no explanation given. And I'm not sure if the one that shipped is even in as the terrible RNG mission "select" system requires us to roll it, and I haven't seen it yet, not that it's all that substantial or interesting, they just changed the spawn rate of one type of special. Yay.

Oh and the big thing, the new map? Didn't ship either.

They also seemingly forgot to add some important weapon balance changees they announced and have erroneously broken the usability of one of the four classes.

That's a lot of incompetence for one important update. It was all of that compounding that has driven me to write a review.

Shape up, please, this isn't good enough. Not to mention the huge loading times and constant disconnects. This just isn't good enough. I really want to recommend this game.

Visceral. Satisfying. Really messed with my head. Loved every bit. Got me obsessed for a few weeks.

Don't buy the starter edition!

This game is unlike any other. And for the most part, that's a positive. It's not a grind to unlock new heroes, and the fact you can get DLC heroes for free at all is awesome. You can try them out for free, too!

Contains some of the most satisfying yet simple combat I've ever played, and the fashion is just sublime. One of my all time favourite games. PC is definitely the way to play, though I would recommend a controller.

Don't play it if you're only interested in singleplayer.

Great for any kind of people:

1) Bossy douches that want to be leaders
2) People who would like to learn Eastern-European languages for free
3) Idiots who prioritise their feelings over everybody elses
4) LoL migrants

I am none of these. I am shoved into support every game BECAUSE NOBODY F*CKING PICKS SUPPORT AND WHEN THEY DO THEY BUILD CARRY ITEMS AND ALWAYS BUILD SANGE AND YASHA ON EVERY HERO SO YOU ARE ONLY SUPPORT AND THERE IS ALWAYS A RIKI OR BLOODCYKA SCREWING EVERYBODY OVER AND THINKING THEY ARE GOOD.

In short, I think this game is great, get it.
