Haven't played much but I guess it's alright

It used to be good. Sadly, those days are gone. At one point, it had a lot of potential. But over time, bad updates, odd design choices, and a shift in direction have taken away what made it special. Now it feels frustrating and empty compared to what it once was. If your friend tells you to play this, just say no. It is not worth your time anymore.
