I feel like I've been lied to. I've heard nothing but bad things about this game. I picked it up during a sale to see how bad it was and... it's not. I mean, the writing isn't great, but the gameplay is solid. Gunplay is fun, I love the kick (Kick + shotgun op), the cars sideswipe is handy (although buggy), I LOVE the wingsuit.

It reminds me a lot of Saints row the third. Game is "realistic" but still has some of the wackier elements.

I dug a tunnel into prison, under a computer, which exploded, blowing off both my arms.
As I lay there dying, I get wanted for trespassing.
I wake up in the hospital, a free man.
The doctor then reattaches both arms for $30.

Very satisfying to 100% clean. It's like Viscera Cleanup Detail without most of the annoying jank.

I've already 100%ed this game 3 times on other platforms (Xbox 360, Xbox one and Xbox one on insane) and I'm gonna do it again. This is, without a doubt, one of my all time favorite games. I think it's because it's a big blend of action and/or stealth with super powers that just no other game really does it for me.

Edit: I 100%ed it again, so make that 4 times I've done that

Personally, I don't think this game aged well. It's weirdly hard at points, a lot of the moves feel like you're suppose to do them standing still and it feels like everything can break you out of animations (such as consuming to heal). Why do I recommend it then? I still had a ton of fun playing it.

I will say though, if you have the option, Prototype 2 is the far superior game.

I actually use this as a screen saver. Very nice.

I draw a lot of parallels to forager, good and bad. I love unlocking all the little upgrades, slowly increasing production of everything, finding out there's more and more to the game when I think I've hit the end. But it has the same problem as Forager in that regard. It sticks around too long. I was determined to get the ending and stuck to it, but I felt the last 5-10 hours were filled with me just waiting because there was no way I could speed up production.

This is exactly what I wanted Melvor Idle and Runescape Idle Adventures to be.
