The factions in this game are incredibly engaging. Be warned if you play one too much, you'll forget how to play the rest. I've played China so much recently I can't really be trusted as Byzantines or Indians anymore.

I LOVE this game! However, as excellent as it is, the condition of it on Steam is not very good. Their are a few certain areas where you will crash if you save there (and try to load that save) so you must restart the whole game. One example is me saving before I get to Melchiah's inner Necropolis, taking a break, getting back to it, only for the game to crash upon loading the save.

TL;DR Get this game but get it from somewhere else.

This game is great for killing time, playing as your favorite civilization, and destroying other civilizations! It comes with a scenario editor which is great for making an alternative timeline, or just having fun!

UPDATE: It gets better with mods too! I've made a few of my own and it is fabulous!
