I've always been looking forward to getting this game but the original price was just way out of budget. And luckily this sale happened, with the price being cut by half, yes, 50% off, it's an amazing deal, so I took the opportunity and bought it.

So, while I only have a little over 3 hour of playtime, I actually have played the original game with the CD that I bought and have actually completed the whole game and unlocked all the cars. And granted that I'm not that good at the game (completed the Seacrest Tour with 13 minutes in a CCXR meanwhile someone on Youtube did that in a CCX in just 11 minutes, wow), so yeah.

THE GOOD's
-The feeling. It feels the same as the original. The cast(cars) are all there, albeit a few not making it to the party; the soundtracks that I loved (such as "Yeah Yeah Yeah" by New Politics & "Echoes" by Klaxons) are still there, and the environment got some neat little touches that just made the place a bit better.

-New Cars. I've only drove the 911 GT2RS and the 911 Turbo 3.3 so far, but seeing the other cars that I've yet to unlock, like the 959 and the Countach, I'm really looking forward to drive these cars that I never got the chance to drive in the original.

-The multiplayer. it's great, I played 3 rounds of it, while on the first round I couldn't quite get what's happening and kept on blindly driving forward, I slowly got the hang of it in the later rounds and boy it really was fun; It's simply exciting and intense, trying to outsmart the enemy players.

THE NOT-SO-GOOD's
Just like everything else in the world, nothing is perfect, and this game is certainly no exception.
-The Performance. I have to be really honest, this game is more performance-demanding than the original game. As a person without a strong PC, having to tone the settings down even lower and playing at even lower resolution than before is really not something to be proud of. But considering that after I ran 1366x768 on windowed mode with everything turned to low/off gave me 50 fps tops, it's not that bad at all.

-The Cars. While the previously unobtainable cars are finally here for us to play with, it's really sad to see 3 of the heroes leave, namely, the E7 Concept, Stirling Moss SLR, and the SLR 722 Edition. I had some memorable moments with the last two: Evading the cops with the surprisingly-agile Stirling Moss on the beach-side; and trying to wreck the 722 interceptors parked on the side of the road by smashing into them, but failed, because I previously tried it on Murcielago LP640 cops and wrecked them and thought it would work the same on them too. Nope, they're really tanky. And to think the SLR 722 is my favourite of the bunch, it's really sad to see them go.

-Last but not least, the PRICE. Look, I get it, you did all of us a favour and included all DLC's without having us to buy them separately, that's great, but I'm gonna be honest, it's really a bit overpriced. If it weren't for this sale right here, many people wouldn't even THINK of buying it.

Conclusion
It's a really great game and you should definitely try it. But is it worth the full price? Absolutely not.

Contrary to popular belief, this game really isn't all that bad as some people make it out to be. The physics is decent, the soundtrack is great, and the vehicle lineup is pretty nice as well. I played this alongside Rivals, and I honestly think this game is much better than that one.
But it still has its downsides, some drift events are too ridiculously difficult (namely the Sidewinder event with the M3 GTR) and the long respawn time after crashing can completely screw you over sometimes.

Still, I really like playing the game, because if I don't, I wouldn't be purchasing the pricey DLC pack.
Speaking of the pack, the R34, M3 GTR, Venom GT, Zonda R and F1 LM are easily my favourites.

Editing this for 2021.
