Really fun way to spend a couple of hours, or you can get really in depth and investigate the deep secrets of the game. One of those titles where "winning the game" is only the tutorial.

Its ok I've played it a little.

The weapon system and overall combat was waaaaaayyyyy better in x3 terran conflict. If this were reverted to the old system I would probably change my review to positive. The fact that you are essentially wed to one ship (the albion skunk) is perhaps its second biggest downfall as I feel as though there are far fewer ship types and therefore play styles available. Oh also SETA drive (speeding time up by up to 10x should never have been removed)

Terran Conflict was a better game except for the graphics and rebirth has a (minorly) improved fleet control system. Also perhaps a slightly more engaging storyline. I do enjoy the improved stations a bit (the only real gameplay innovation and improvement.)



Overall: Get x3 Terran conflict, its better.

So they have put back in seta, which helps, but I still think x3 is a better game because you are not (effectively) tied to one ship, and I like the weapon system far better.
