Yes, as you might have guessed rocket league is hard and like any online competitive game its got its fair share of toxicity, however if you're not instantly deterred yet then this game might be great for you. It's extraordinarily easy to dump a lot of time into this game because getting better is actually a fun process for most. I can easily spend hours in training trying to learn some new moves and even though my skills are still garbage, its fun nonetheless because you just look so darn cool.

Additionally the game has a cool customization system with many free and paid cosmetics. Trading allows there to be a bit of an economy as well. I don't feel like I have to spend money at all to keep playing but I don't mind doing that every now and then given how much entertainment I get from the game.

And remember kids, its always your teammate's fault.

Pros
- Music Streaming Compatibility
- Ship Customization
- Great couch Co-op
- Fantastic Visuals

Cons
- Feels the same as its predecessor
- Music sync isn't perfect
- Repetitive

For those who haven't played the first Beat Hazard, don't bother, this is essentially a better version. The best way I could think of to describe BH 2 is that its a remastered BH Ultra and made for modern day music. One of the largest reasons I stopped playing Beat Hazard was because I didn't have any of my own music to use. By far the best addition Beat Hazard 2 brings is the song recognition technology that allows you to use any music streaming service. Personally I rely heavily on Spotify for my music and it works great with this game. As always the visuals are quite intense and with a proper audio setup the experience is unreal. One of the few drawbacks of this game is that it is highly repetitive. Each level you play features largely the same enemies and same bosses, however more variety may be added in future updates. Personally I don't mind the repetition very much but to some it might lower interest. The intensity of the music and the intensity of the combat doesn't always sync correctly, meaning you'll have crazy moments in the game but the song isn't even at its "best part" and when it does get there, the combat doesn't really do it justice. This is expected though as this game was made to be used with any song, and getting them all perfect is practically impossible. The last con I'll mention is that this game feels a lot like the one before it. If you're someone who's looking for an entirely different experience, then this game isn't for you. Nonetheless, this is a great couch co-op game while still being a great game to play solo. If you like music and arcade-style games, this is the perfect game to pick up.

TL:DR
It's basically the same as Beat Hazard Ultra, but better. It is worth picking up.
