Beautiful graphics, decent gameplay, and.... a disjointed plot which is an embarrassment to the FF name.

Yes, we're all used to DLC which can add extra details to a game. Without the DLC on this game (which wasn't even available at release) there are massive areas of the plot which make zero sense. Major events happen with no explanation and we're literally expected to just roll with it. Imagine if your favorite TV series release a full season where the third, fifth, and eight episode were missing. Then, they released an extra season - which you need to buy, which provided those episodes.

Even with the DLC, those who aren't also following the Manga/Animated series will probably be in the dark about some of the overall plot.

While it's pretty to look at, this title is just a bit of a mess and a money-grab. Anyone who is fan of the FF series shouldn't waste time on this.

Enough to keep you up late playing. Blends X-Com style combat with a more smooth sense of inter-battle movement and exploration.

"Normal" mode on a lot of songs has me building up a sweat after a bit, and you can definitely feel the bite on hard.

NEED MORE SONGS. Seriously, give me a few hundred in various expansion packs and I'll buy them all, or maybe the ability to use your own MP3's etc and create your own levels?
