The best tactical WW2 shooter in existence. Great soundscape, visuals, and gameplay. Hell Let Loose doesn't hold a candle to this.

I was really upset with this game because it always gave me a short estimated wait time, and took much longer to find a match, but I soon realized that instead of reading it in minutes and seconds, you're supposed to read it days:hours. After this revelation I have to rate 10/10.

TImmy Clownshoe's Reallybad Slow Siege is easily GOTY material.

Early Access Review
Rust will terrify you, but the beauty of the game is that it's players scaring you, not just scripted events and npc attacks. As a survival game it's rather mediocre, but when you throw in the highly competetive PvP aspect it becomes something much more. You'll quickly realize that to survive you need friends and a place to hide. You will be attacked. You will be killed. You will kill others. The only way to advance technologically is to travel to a town surrounded by npcs and, often, watched by other players. You and your friends will face many choices that must be made on the fly ranging from "What do we research?" to "Do we kill him?" Eventually you will find yourself heavily armed and armored and seemingly invincible, but it won't last long, you'll lose everything to a cleverly thrown grenade or an expert bowman. Time to start over.

Returning players of the Stronghold series will be sorely dissapointed by this deplorable attempt to cash in on a wonderful series. This game is rife with glitches and is missing all of the best features of the earlier installments. This is a game that should have never been released.

This game truly suceeds at being terrifying and depressing. You play as Simon who has woken up in a world where death, depression, suicide, monsters, and terror have become the norm. You are left to your own devices to survive and work your way through multi-stage missions that normally stem from your minimal contact with other humans. The monsters (and especially the bosses) prey upon human fears and will leave you genuinely terrified.

If you're looking for something horrifying and introspective, you've found it.

PlanetSide 2 is a unique first person shooter. The backstories of the three factions are designed to instantly polarize new players and give them a reason to fight. You're only goal is to capture the planet of Auraxis, but that means capturing the three vastly different continents, each requiring a different strategy. The fictitious advanced technologies employed in the war are believable and useful, but defeatable. Overall, this is a game that rewards teamwork and strategy more than FPS skill.

Fallout: New Vegas transports the player to a completely different world. The introductory video will introduce you to people and factions who will become your greatest enemies and your best friends, but it's left up to you to decide who is who. Playing as an amensiac courier, you must piece together your own past, but when you have all the facts, it's time to decide the future. You face difficult choices that will influence the rest of the storyline which culminate in the Battle of Hoover Dam, but your story isn't over. A final video extends the stories of communities and characters well into the future based on your actions.

The iconic Fallout style shows throughout the game, and many old factions are shown in a refreshing light. Each faction has a unique style, philosophy, and history, that can only be gleaned through extensive dialogue options.
