Early Access Review
Could be a cool game, but in order to claim achievements you have to write a review. Epic Fail!

Thanks to the usual UBISoft crap you cannot even play this game when you have no internet connection. Great design choice.

It is a nice game, but why don't I recommend it then you ask? Simply because the game is implementing some kind of "real vision" which is supposed to simulate realistic head movement and the corresponding vision. Unfortunately it only simulates half of it, so what you get is a different implementation of head bobbing, and if you are prone to motion sickness you probably will get it quite quick with this game. And of course, there is no way to turn that off. It might be a little bit of a personal rant, but I fail to understand why developers, to this day, try to implement some kind of head bobbing. I've never seen a realistic implementation so far and lots of people are prone to motion sickness and additionally many more don't seem to like it. At least giving you, the player, the possibility to choose whether you want it or not should be a given nowadays.

Should, in some update along the way, the head bobbing will become optional, I might give this game another chance, but as it is I cannot recommend it, as I can't play it for more than a couple of minutes before I get sick.

For me this is simple the best game I've played in years. If you really haven't heard of it now, search YouTube, there are so many better videos pointing out the many great strengths and the few weak points of this game than I could ever comprehensibly write in this review. But if you like RPG games, especially those like in the days of old, before the invention in RTS with pause (whoever invented that should hide in shame!), look no further, this game is most certainly for you. And if you are not one of those people and hate turn-based RPG game I challenge you to try it anyways, you might be surprised!

If you like the Alien Franchise and especially the second movie Aliens, then this is a wet dream come true. It's a really good game, but be warned it's not an easy one. I got yourself killed many times over even on the easiest difficulty until I got the hang of the game. The story is unique, but fits the Aliens Universe pretty well and the maps and location feel very true to the Aliens movie. I was immersed pretty fast. Having said that, though, keep in mind no game is perfect and without bugs. I haven't had a real game-breaking bug, yet, aside from one side-quest I am currently not able to complete, but I assume that will get fixed soon. And there are some things that become a little annoying over an extended period of time, like a longer travel animations (although skipable) that start to play every time, some voice lines that play over and over again and stuff like that. None of that is a deal breaker to me as I find the game really, really good.

Certainly one of the best games, if not the best game, of 2022 if you like metal and you like shooting.

Ever since I played the Kickstarter demo, this game got me hooked. If you like roleplaying games, and you love D&D 5e, this game is probably for you. It feels almost as if you are having a session with your friend around the table and got some cool minis and battlemaps to play with.

The developers are very communcative and interacting with the community (I am a Kickstarter backer, so I count the regular KS updates as well). For example, some of the issues metioned in the reviews, like the lightning system, are going to be changed, based on the feedback provided so far.

Truth be told, the graphics are not what the game shines at, if you are looking for top notch graphics you might want to look elsewhere. But besides that, for me, the game feels immersive and has a "real table" feeling to it. 5/5 for me!
