Now, after about 50 tries, i finally beat Sans Undertale. He will torment me with his Fortnite Dancing no longer. I am Free. I am free to finally touch some grass again and live life (and cry and wait for another Deltarune Chapter in 2023)

Games kinda based, Fanbase really cringe, but if you set those things aside it is probably the most beautiful story i have gone through in the last years.

Toby fox is a madman, 10/10 would recommend

So, Worlds Adrift, Huh?

I bought this game about 2 Weeks ago, because some of my friends where playing it. And, after almost 100 Hours i have to say i enjoyed my time. The beginning with this seemless travel between islands, the exploring i did with a friend of mine who started at the same time as i did, the races we had from island to island, and the times we "visited" each other by jumping on the wings of our ships, with the endless abyss stretching below. I am now in the Remnants in the South section of the map, and while the knowledge you can gather is very nice, one thing really started to bother me, starting in the Expanse:

The Latency and Lag on the PVE Server is at times so bad, that my ship stops while flying, only to be catapulted forward to compensate for lag, the times i get flung away from my ship, because mantises bug into my ship after they died, or me trying to steer my ship only to not be able to do anything for 10 seconds and see my ship helplessly crash into islands and respawn towers.

I know of reading this tab, that the PVP Section of the players are VERY passionate about their precious PVP Survival, and i can respect that. I am nothing more as a casual pleb, who dislikes PVP, but enjoys exploration and farming (And oh boy, some of the islands are superb)
But no one likes to get killed by bugs, lose your ship because a mantis breaks the physics just before a Sandwall so much you get catapulted into the shadow realm , only to respawn and see your ship getting crushed by the killzone because you couldn`t repair your wings on time. I was not prepared to steer into a Sandwall at this time, and my destination was an island not far away of a sandwall. After i recovered from my loss it wasnt hard to rebuilt, and this is not the issue, but the bitter taste this left on my tongue.

I really, really want to like this game, but the incredible lag and latency i experience is very demoralizing and far from a fun experience. Maybe this isnt as bad for Americans as it is for europeans, but this baffles me more and more that they decided to remove the dedicated server in europe, when the performance is so bad. I really have to wait and hope that update 30 brings much needed performance balancing with a dedicated server for saving ships.

As it stands now, Worlds Adrift is a really fun experience and extremely immersive, but with the servers struggeling to keep track of aprox~ 300 Players i cannot recommend this to new players. The servers are already dying as it is of now.
