Polished gameplay along with immersive visuals and sound design make Pavlov VR a must have for mature VR owners.

The developers have done a great job delivering a game that feels just as good as what would be expected from a much larger AAA developer like DICE or Infinity Ward.

After enjoying the core experience you can start fooling around with the Steam workshop where you'll find many familiar fan-made maps and modes that you know from other games as well as modes and maps created from the community that are unique to Pavlov.

Devolver Digital has become synonymous with unique, innovative and polished indie titles and Weedcraft Inc. is yet another entry in their portfolio lending credence to that reputation.

Weedcraft excels at flawlessly combining city building, RPG and economic simulation into one polished package and I can honestly say I can’t recall another game in this genre recently that has taken such a bold chance.

You don't have to be a stoner to enjoy this game - even without being a subject matter expert in pot you'll find that the game gives you multiple well thought out paths to accomplish the different progression tasks you'll need to complete. For $20 I’ve already gotten close to 15 hours of gameplay, and I still have so many ideas of how I want to replay the various scenarios.

The Assassin's Creed series has drifted far away from it's roots, but that's a good thing.

This is by far my favorite entry into the series, which speaks volumes about the quality of this game considering I'm an Ancient Egypt buff and by all accounts should worship the triple AAA polish and attention that went into Assassin's Creed: Origins.

With that said, the implementation of RPG mechanics paired with the fluent action-adventure gameplay gave this series a steroid injection of new life that truly makes Odyssey a masterpiece that is able to not only reach the bar set by Witcher 3, but also surpass it in some areas such as environmental and character details that could only be accomplished with today's technology.

The community for this game has basically died and because of that I can no longer recommend it.

Fractured Space might be a free to play game, but nobody would blame you for mistaking it for a full priced AAA game.

Yes there’s microtransactions, but a vast majority of them are cosmetic - and the ones which aren’t can easily be earned through an investment in time spent playing.

What separates FS from other games in its genre (Dreadnought, World Of Tanks) is that the developers haven’t put restrictions on how long you can play before you’re forced to spend game or IRL currency to get back in the action.

Fractured Space’s game mechanics are more aligned with MOBAs than a space twitch shooter. Unlike traditional MOBAs you aren’t disposing of creeps in order to upgrade your ship, but you are using tactics to decide what lane to attack and when it’s ok to let the other team claim an objective so that your team can use the distraction as an opportunity to attack their base.

All in all I’m glad Fractured Space is now a free to play game. It still has all the bells and whistles of when it was a full priced game, but now the crew and implant system gives the developer an ongoing revenue stream while still making sure that new players and veterans can still just play the game to get the same unlocks.

The game is thousands of miles ahead of where it was when I played it 2 years ago so I think it's safe to say the developers are reinvesting their revenue in improving the game.

I'm a huge Telltale Games and comic book fan, so this was a match made in heaven.

Some minor complaints can be made about the aging game engine Telltale continues to use, but I wouldn't let them keep you from playing this game.

Telltale does a fantastic job of turning everything you know about Batman on its head. Villians may have completely different relationships with Bruce/Batman than you're used, origins of some of your favorite characters have been changed - AND IT ALL WORKS INCREDIBLY!

I throughly enjoyed all 5 episodes, and Telltale seems to have finally escaped the curse of having 1 episode that everyone agrees is mediorce. On to season 2 - The Enemy Within!

At first glance Wildlands looks like the typical Ubisoft open world Action-Adventure game, but a few hours in you quickly realize that the team behind Wildlands not only wanted to create a huge beautiful open world - but that they also wanted to have meaniful content and realstic wildlife and NPCs present as well.

I'm a huge Assassin's Creed fan, but I'd be the first to point out that a vast majority of the side activities available in those games does nothing to push the story forward in a meaningful way. In Wildlands every side mission you complete is either bringing you closer to dismantling the cartel, or giving you intel or resources to unlock or improve support options.

These support options range from vehicle dropoffs such as armored weaponized vehicles and helicopters, or literally giving you a dozen rebels reinforcements to help you with different scenarios across the huge world.

All of the game's mechanics come together in such a polished and coherent way that you really do get immersed into this role of being a ghost solider. I cannot praise enough how open the game is in letting you tackle missions. There are countless times where I'd intentions to go in stealthy only to make one wrong move that in most games would be an insta-death, but in Wildlands you're given the freedom to recover and adapt to even rookie mistakes.

The story in Wildlands was actually pretty great and one of the main reasons I'd be hooked for multiple hours in a single session was because I wanted to see what was going to happen next.

I have yet to play the DLCs but I hear they're great as well. I've only put about 10 hours into the PVP mode, but I can see that I am going to really enjoy it as well. Right now I could best describe it as Metal Gear Solid V meets Rainbow Six Siege.

I've tried Skyrim, Elder Scrolls, Dragon Age and countless other "Fantasy" style RPGs but none could over grip my attention for more than a few hours. I've just always been more into Sci-Fi, and with that said it should be no surprise that Mass Effect is my favorite videogame franchise of all time, but it's no longer my favorite RPG.

A good friend of mine (shoutout to Badfish_v2) had recommened Witcher 3 over and over again for the past few years, but I never paid it any attention because I had dismissed it simply based off the genre.

Fast forward to Winter 2017 and I've burned through every AAA game released that year, and my backlog is full of dated games that have passed that window of opportunity...but tucked away in my Steam llibrary is a GOTY copy of Witcher 3 that I picked up in the Summer sale.

I installed it, and then I spend the next 10 hours straight playing it. 70+ hours later I've shed tears of sadness and joy, I've laughed out loud and I've uninstalled the game with a feeling in my heart that I'm closing the chapter on one of the best storytelling and gameplay experiences I've ever had in my life.

This is a must have for any RPG fan, but I'd bet money that any serious game can respect and find something to apperciate in this masterpiece. Check out NexusMods to really get the most out of this game!

Recommended for veteran fans of the Assassin's Creed series and newcomers who are looking for a solid action-adventure game with decent RPG elements.

Writing a full review would take longer than completing the game.

It's a fun sci-fi walking simulator, character development was sparse and it takes less than 4 hours to see all there is to see, but luckily the story is full of suspense and there's a neat plot twist near the end.

Worth the price of admission, but buy knowing it's an one and done experience unless you're an achievement hunter.

Friday the 13th: The Game is the asymmetrical multiplayer game that finally perfects the formula popularized by Dead by Daylight and Evolve.

PROS :

* Incredibly optimized : 4K resolution and epic settings barely scratched the surface of my GTX 1070 and I was able to maintain 60 FPS consistently even while recording footage through CPU hungry recording applications.

* Great community : finding a quick match takes no time at all and the community Discord is perfect for putting together private matches among friends and strangers with your own unique set of rules.

* Flexible gameplay : Unlike Dead by Daylight there are multiple ways to win a round as a survivor. Players can group together to find tools needed to escape by boat or car, or a solo player can go lone wolf to find a phone to call the cops from and escape on their own.

* AAA quality graphics : Every Jason model is perfectly modeled after its movie counterpart and the camp counselors, environments and items are equally polished.

CONS :

* There is no cameo by Freddy, Pinhead or Chucky

* I do wish there was just 1 additional option for a survivor to escape via a method that did not require finding a resource on the game map, and instead was possibly an outrun Jason scenario. Although there is an option to outlast Jason by remaining hidden until the time runs out I still would like a way to aggressively escape vs passively win.
