Thanks for making this game a cryptobro scam.
It will be fun to see how fast it crashes and burns on EGS.

Honestly one of the best coop shooters I ever played. I wholeheartedly recommend this game.

Now hold this L, Soyny. Soyny has chickened out of doing the really dumb region lock bait and switch so the game is actually just good now, therefore I am changing to a positive review.

Beware of bugs, though, it's a bit unpolished. Yeah that's being fixed at a consistent pace as well, just play the game already!

This is an FPS that lets me punch things to death as a viable strategy, there's nothing more I need to say.

Honestly speaking this game is fantastic and I don't really regret buying it multiple times and further supporting them in the new season pass model. On a technical level this is a masterpiece.

The developers have just censored a bunch of art and story content though, and I cannot stand for that.
If you want to see what exactly got removed, they made a post listing every change themselves and their reasoning behind it, you may agree or not, but it's still censorship of artwork, which is a sad thing to say about one of my favourite fighting games of all time.

Edit here to maybe dodge the "offtopic review period" because I don't think my review is one.

Wrestled with extremely clunky UI for an hour and a half and suffered through terrible audio design while bombarded with confusing information and a concerning amount of bonuses and rewards for just breathing that gave me really bad mobile game vibes for about an hour and a half until reaching a point where I realized that the game put me on a different server than my friend as a default recommended option with no way to change other than remaking my account and redoing everything.
Maybe it's enjoyable for retro MMO fans that can deal with the clunkiness and sensory overload but it's not for me.

Simply fun, not much else to say about it.

For a little bit more indepth review of the positives, there's the great optimization, earnable cosmetics through gameplay challenges besides the usual battlepass/lootbox driven cosmetic progression, no other progression outside of cosmetics or other forms of imbalance, lots of gamemodes, quick queue times, silly oldschool artstyle and many more, the game is simply a joy to play and a love letter to great classics like Quake and UT, with a twist.

It's free, give it a try!

Early Access Review
There is genuinely a fun concept with some very good ideas under all the mess of bugs and issues:

- A new take on the BR genre, and I don't mean the PvE, since that's been done many times already - This is one of the, if not the least RNG-reliant one I've ever played, which takes out a lot of the frustration of getting bad draws.

- A more "filled" map where you're constantly doing something - resource management and looting, fighting adds, fighting or trying to avoid players, dealing with the environment, etc. - it has less dead time where you are just running across an empty map waiting to run into players to finally be able to play the game.

- A MOBA-insipired in-match progression system that lets you "buy" (read: craft) items with "gold" (read: scrap) obtained by raiding objectives and killing minions (read: outlanders, scourge, wild animals) - it has many positive effects on the game, from letting you actually use the loadouts you want instead of being forced to use random junk of random qualities that might lose you fights because the loot crates in your way got you bad drops to having objectives to push players together and have more predictable rotations. On top of that, the customizable loadouts add a lot of variety.

- Addional incentives for risky plays in the form of salvage collection instead of fully encouraging sitting in a bush for extended periods of time waiting to nail someone with a sniper rifle.

- Exciting final rush to the extraction dropship with options between getting in first and playing King of The Hill, rushing an established team in an attempt to overthrow them or try to sneak in undetected while others fight. There's not even a need for "last one standing" - anyone alive inside the ship when the extraction timer hits zero leaves the match alive, but afterwards there is a scoreboard where the highest scoring team truly wins.

Why is the review negative, then? Unfortunately, there are many issues that invalidate the positives:

- RNG is still ever present, especially for new players without many loadout items unlocked (more on this later), and due to changes to dynamic objective spawns and the scrap system, among other things, bad map spawns can set you back significantly. Additionally, salvage RNG. Adding to this, the map gets quite empty, and needs more dynamic objectives back.

- The map RNG, coupled with the rapidly emptying map can softlock your progression due to there being no more sources of either scrap or xp left, leaving you stuck undergeared and forced to fight in the final circle at a huge disadvantage. This problem is made even worse with the fact that more often than not, engaging players in any way is detrimental as all it does is waste time that could be better spent actually earning that vital scrap and xp - which is a shame, as it is the most fun aspect of gameplay.

- The salvage system is a nightmare on multiple levels. The drop rates are awful so extracting the easy low level stuff is actually more worthwhile than going for the limited legendary drops that, despite being guaranteed, don't give much compared to their low-level counterparts. Even when getting the correct salvage item that drops the right materials you want to unlock a new loadout item (eg. Biofilm from Scourge Biomass salvage to unlock Biofoam, letting you craft a healing item in-match when requirements are met)... it might not even drop the right material. Deconstructing materials for a universal trade currency can be done, but the rate is hilariously bad. The material requirements for unlocks are insanely jacked up and it takes an absurdly long time to progress - on top of that, once you do finally have them, you have to wait on a mobile game timer of several hours (if you start out and see it's just 10 minutes, trust me, it gets way worse past the common items) for the "research" to finish.

- The unlocks aren't direct upgrades most of the time - as an example, a signature rifle of a specific class hasc a bigger magazine and is full-auto instead of semi, but it requires a higher in-match level to craft, trading a weaker early game for a stronger late game; other weapons are even specialized like explosive rounds better fit for destroying PvE armor but weaker against PvP players' energy shields - but they definetly give advantages, and often times the trade offs are in benefit of late game strenght and with little other tradeoffs, sometimes not even any relevant downsides. They are not balanced at all and significantly increase your performance, and if you don't have a bunch of unlocks your chances of getting out on the dropship are slim to none.

Overall this sytem creates a toxic environment where the rich get richer, and being a new player is absolutely not worth it - you will be scrapping for breadcrumbs filled with bad RNG to maybe unlock some things to even begin to stand a chance against teams decked out in epic/legendary gear who will not only beat you with bigger experience, but also better, more specialized gear and faster farming which allows them to hit endgame earlier. No matter how godlike your aim and positioning is, someone with a much higher healthbar because of upgraded shields, with a damage-reducing perk and a high powered weapon will eventually manage to hit you a few times and kill you, because TTK is pretty long and dropping anyone by surprise is not common - unless of course you have some specific high tier unlocks.

On top of that, if you intend to play solo - just don't. This game is literally unplayable without a premade group, 99% of quickplay players are on their first matches and will crash, AFK or ragequit on you more often than not, and even if they don't, they have no gear and no experience and will do nothing but drag you down against fully decked out premades. The tutorial is not good and doesn't teach new players properly, if they even pay any attention to it to begin with.

There seem to be hackers, with video proof online, so it's definetly real, but I haven't personally run into any - despite some deaths looking quite suspicious, but I usually chalk it up to the pretty terrible servers/netcode this game has. Backtracking, rubberband and freezes aren't that uncommon.

Many basic features, such as crosshair customization (you'd think they would have realized that a white crosshair on a snowy map wasn't the best idea...), shoulder swap, displaying what weapons actually do (yep, no stats, at all! Spend your hard-earned materials and just find out, I guess!), etc. are missing and really hurt the experience.

I'm personally sad to give this game a bad review because of all the great ideas and fun classes - ever thrown a car at someone with a physics-force-push? They've even got my favourite: camouflage! - it contains, and it even being fun in certain circumstances when playing with a group of friends you know, but there are far too many issues that ruin it, especially for newer players. My personal suggestion would be to bookmark the game and check back in a few weeks or months to see if things like salvage, research, progression, queue/match fill, dynamic objectives, scrap, xp... are fixed.

I wish the game was more like it was back in closed beta.

No strings attached 30 or so minutes of fun shooting and dodging with a little time manipulation thrown in for funsies, there's nothing more to it.
Does what it sets out to do perfectly in it's short time span, pick it up for a quick half hour of fun!

Only drawback is the translation being a little wonky, but it's understandable.
