Early Access Review
Great for an early access game, the ideas and mechanics are very fun and refreshing. And when they start to become boring to do manually you start to gain the ability to automate things using workers. This however is still very undercooked.

Workers glitch out and stop working even though there is stuff to be done. Reloading the game temporarily fixes the issue.

Handlers making items disappear. On routes where you stock from a shelf to the cauldron all the gasoline just disappeared every time I filled the shelf.

Routes from handles should have editable names attached to them. Figuring out which worker is doing which route is a nightmare in bigger operations.

Also after about 20 hours of gameplay it falls of a bit because it is obviously not finished yet. I’d expect rival dealers turf wars, gang systems etc in the future to keep things interesting.

Also making high quality stuff seems to be pretty unimportant except for when trying to gain new clients. Once they’re in your contacts any deal seems to be just about how much money they have in their wallet rather than the quality of your stuff.

Great stuff so far, just needs some more time in the oven!

If you haven't played the stick of truth, get that one instead, it's a whole lot better.

I'm a huge south park fan but there is so much ubisoft barf in here that really turns me off.

Overengineerd UI systems that add nothing to the gameplay. When I booted the game up I had to sit through 2 minutes of what amazing Items I unlocked by buying the gold edition... I instantly regret that decision....

Also who thought that auto looting was a good idea? Instead of looking whats in a cabinet to see whats there it now just puts it in your inventory immediately. In the previous game every item was something from the series with the original art as an icon attached to it. Now theyre generic icons(for the most part) such a weird courner to cut.

The stick of truth really felt like a masterpiece where every sentence and every silence was placed deliberately, it really had that comedic pacing of the series. In this game it just feels like there were 20 teams that worked on different things and then mashed them together. The voice acting is worse/more disjointed and the soundtrack is a bit off and unfitting in alot of circumstances. It didn't hold your hand and you had to figure stuff out yourself, find your own secrets.

In this game the second you walk into the room you have an npc shouting the solution of whatever puzzle was there.

Really ubisoft? Why don't you just let the game completely play itself. Or even better, just make videos that people can watch. 0 brainpower required.

Great party game, there seem to be some balancing issues with the characters but nothing that couldn't be patched. The foundation is extremely solid and feels very polished. One feature I'm really missing is 2 player local vs 2 player online. This doesn't seem to be possible atm which is a shame.

If you want a game where you could blur the bottom 90% of your screen and you would still exactly know where to go... This game is not for you.

If you want participation trophies and just generally get praised for your mediocre gaming skill... this game is not for you.

If you want a game that holds your hand and tells you exactly what to do at any given moment... this game is not for you.

However...

If you wonder why games have been so boring lately and why it seems that the good games, like the ones that you loved in your childhood just dont seem to exist anymore....

If you want to change your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rodent-like neurochemistry and are ready to unlock your hidden potential...

If you want to adopt a mind-set that will set you up for inevitable success in any future endeavours outside of your gaming life.

This is it chief... Also, don't look up stuff, you'll just spoil the game for yourself.

The only bad thing I can think of about this game is that the gameplay is somewhat restrictive, playing the hardest difficulty demands using the meta. There are usually only 1 or two ways to deal with certain enemies and getting back into the game after a break can be difficult because it slowly builds you up to be a trained doom slaying machine.
Once you embrace this design choice the game is extremely fun and rewarding.

It's very well thought out and the performance and graphics are on top of the industry.

It's definitely not the easiest game, so if you're not confident in your FPS skills you might want to build up to this one.

Best game to get your purely hypothetical girlfriend into gaming.

Phrases that you normally never hear will leave her mouth:

"We make a great team!",
"Can you nail me please?
or
"Woah you're so big!"
